Doesn’t get dusty For mice: It’s easy to pile up in a corner so they can build tunnels in the material. Or fill a nest, so they can make tunnels. It also works as bedding for the whole cage. For my rats, I cover the entire bottom. I’ve just started trying it, so I don’t know yet how long you can use it before it starts to smell for rats, but they also use a litter box, so the bedding doesn’t get dirty. Mice keep it clean for a long time, but then you just clean out the pee and poo corners.

This is great for bunnies because it’s less dusty than wood shavings. It’s very absorbent and hides the odours well. I recommend it.
