Contrary to the product description, the tunnel is not machine washable. I washed it at 30 degrees in a laundry bag, but unfortunately, even that didn’t help. Unlike the hammock, the tunnel has a filling that twists and tears inside when washed in the machine. I had to cut the tunnel open to remove the torn/crumpled foam. Now I use the tunnel without any filling (but it’s just a thin piece of fabric now).

Poorly finished on the inside, not hemmed, with threads and the lining sticking out. Might be a bit too big overall for rats. However, the material itself is nice and soft and doesn’t make any rustling noise. Due to the risk of injury, I’m sending the item back.

Nice tunnel, but the lining isn’t sewn in place, so if you wash it in the machine the lining twists around inside. I had to cut open the seams to get the lining back in place 🥲😂

Seemed good when using and by the fire, but after the first machine wash the inner padding got all bunched up. I’ll have to try opening the seam and sewing it again.
