Easy to assemble, but the instructions are confusing. It's great for Hamsters who nibble on bars or climb, so I would recommend for that issue. When opening the side door, the bedding will spill out and make a mess though. Bought a different cage from this site and would recommend it more, as it takes this into account and has an extra layer to allow for easy cleaning and deep burrowing. The quality was slightly lacking with sharp edges and levels that do not feel sturdy.
