The metal grille design is terribly bad

I use it for helping my cat recover after surgeries, but you can't really fold it up properly for storage. The longer sides of the metal grid can't be folded in, so if you want to put the cage away, it takes up a huge amount of space. Also, the top door doesn't have the usual latch, and you have to bend the bars quite a bit to open it – I have no idea how many times you can bend them before they break.
