I bought this after reading the other reviews as I have tried several grooming brushes with my 4 and none of them particularly liked any of them. I have to say, this is the best brush I have ever had, all of mine love it and it removes shed fur and debris incredibly well. The small size is great as you can get to most parts of the cat without issue, I don't think I would use this on their tummies due to the metal bristles, that said, I would recommend this little brush, I have been impressed.
My recently rescued cats would not tolerate being brushed....until I found this brush....now they even like their chin and neck being brushed. It's very small, and the teeth are quite soft, so it grabs hair without bothering the cats. I haven't bothered with the brush cleaning tool, I just pull the hair out of the brush. I'd highly recommend this brush for short haired cats.
pretty practical, easy to use and my cat loved
my cats love this! its not soft, but doesn't hurt them when they try and rub their cheeks on it! I like how small it is because its less intrusive.
I like this brush because it is small and can be lightly used underarm and near groin and contours of kitty that are hard to comfortably access with a larger brush or comb.
Didn't realise how small this was going to be! However, my cats don't seem to mind being groomed with this unlike other brushes. Maybe size does matter!
Bought this little brush for my two cats, one of which although short haired moults a LOT and I was getting so fed up with having to constantly hoover up her fur and cat fur is so sticky it would just get everywhere. Safe to say they absolutely LOVE it! They purr and puff up and love their daily brushing's, my ginger boy dribbles and purrs it's so sweet. Plus it makes their fur really soft and I get literally massive chunks of fur which fill up the brush, it's unreal! It's great for bonding and they really seem to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend! Would be just as good for long haired cats too. The 'brush cleaner' it comes with is not very helpful to be honest, it makes it harder so it's better to just pull the fur out yourself, but it comes out in a tidy little bale if you pull it all out together which is great as there isn't fur flying around everywhere. You just have to be careful with brushing around the cats face with their eye's as the bristles are quite sharp, but apart from that fantastic!
It looks a bit rudimentary and the steel spikes are quite rough but the kitten loves it - he recognises and runs to it for a nice brushing. Good value for money, love you Zooplus
Unfortunately can not put high ratings, the brush itself is ok though could be a bit bigger in size. The main thing is - its not really a soft brush. The comb is very tough and rough - metallic. For my little kitten (british shorthair, 4 months old) seems too harsh. Have to buy another brush now but online its very difficult to check how hard is the brush actually...
I am a professional groomer of both dogs & cats and this little brush is what i use every single day, its ideal for all coat type's. Its size makes it perfect for getting under arm pits, tummys, legs, behind the ears.... clients ask me what is the correct brush type for there dog (or cat) and these are the ones i recommend!!
I wouldn't describe the brush as 'extra soft' as it was still quite scratchy and you have to be fairly gentle. However it works a treat for my Cocker Spaniel - he has thick and fluffy fur but it has no trouble with any tangles and leaves him feeling soft and silky. On the first use the metal around the edges had already tarnished but the for price I can't complain.
First brush I bought for my new ragdoll kitten and seems to the job fine!
