Chipsi Classic Pet Bedding

This is fairly good bedding but it is moderately dusty, the flake is very small like confetti, and it gets absolutely everywhere.

On the package it says that this is dust free and highly absorbent - both of these were unfortunately not the case here. Please don’t buy this for your pets as it’s hard on their paws and is very dusty which means it can lead to respiratory infections etc.

This ped bedding has so much dust and is not suitable for pets. I strongly don't recommend it.

As soon as I started breaking up the wood shavings with my hands, I scratched myself on a splinter. I checked carefully and in less than 7cm of compressed shavings I found loads of large, stiff splinters, absolutely not suitable for letting a hamster go through, since it should be able to dig tunnels and make itself a nest. I'll break up a bit more, being extremely careful, only because I need it urgently, but I expect to throw almost all of it away.

Too much dust, unfortunately…

Good bedding for rodents

I bought two packs and was a bit disappointed because there were honestly some really big and sharp pieces of wood inside. When I spread the bedding in my hamster’s cage, it made a lot of dust that got into his eyes and nose. The bedding itself is okay, but I won’t buy it again.

I always order this one because it’s not dusty, which is exactly why I use it for my guinea pig. I’m satisfied with it and can only recommend it—it works great for us.

Very good for my hamster and also much cheaper compared to other bedding.
