Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care - Chicken - cat wet food

My 19 year old cat was diagnosed with renal failure a few months ago. On recommendation from my vet we were told to switch to this food and have never looked back. She really enjoys it and has not developed the latter stages of renal failure, ie excessive thirst, as yet. I am sure this food is helping her. Doesn't smell too great but a small price to pay.

I'll keep feeding this food as long as he keeps going mad for it. It's also reassuring to know it's a food that helps to prevent urinary problems, as we have had issues with that in the past.

Nice and moist, clean and probably good stuff but my cats hate it and wont eat it - all 5 of them.

My cat of 10 years began to have problems with urinary infections and crystals, and he had very dense urine. The vet recommended this Hills C/D dry food combined with the C/D wet food as well. Within 3-4 weeks we no longer had any problems, so it's very effective. And at zooplus it's very well priced!

My cat has had a repeated urinary infections and FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). This food has helped us to avoid FLUTD since it changes the ph of the urine preventing the formation of urinary stones. But it is important to stick to just this food to get the full effects.

After the surgery for kidney stones, my cat would only eat this food, and it worked perfectly. What can I say, Hill's sachets were definitely what we were looking for. Nina (my cat) is crazy about them! I hope this food will never be withdrawn from sale because it heals and also prevents at the same time. One word: perfect!! I would recommend it even for owners of fussy cats (mine is one of them!)

My cat eats this regularly. The vet recommended it after she'd had an operation for urinary stones, we've combined this with her other food and she hasn't relapsed so far.

One of the best brands for tackling cystitis problems. It destroys the crystals, thus preventing the discomfort they cause.

My three elderly cats get high-quality food to prevent (re-)occurrences of urinary tract issues (one of the well-known "Achilles' heels" in cats) and to ease the strain on their kidneys. All three DEFINITELY do not like this almost sinfully expensive wet food from Hill's. They would rather starve than touch this food. What does this animal behaviour say about this food? Only a cynic would think badly of it...

My cat has very serious kidney and bladder problems and can’t have kibble anymore. She should have surgery, but it would be a very, very heavy operation. So, the vet’s advice is to give her these hydrating foods. The only downside is the price, which is really, really, really expensive, since I give her two pouches every 24 hours. But she really likes them, and since then, she hasn’t had any issues. However, be very careful with payment – my card was charged twice for two orders, and there were some problems getting a refund.

Unfortunately, my cat, who isn't feeling well right now, didn't like it. And because of his condition, I don't have much choice.

I had no problems with the delivery. Unfortunately, we went through a tough time with our cat and had to give him Hill's Urinary dry food and pouches, and here I found a really good price.

We have two cats, both are picky eaters, and both developed struvite stones, but they both really love this food and it also helped dissolve the stones. ☺️

I bought them all together for my cats to try. I never would have believed they’d like them this much. I’ve noticed they often have special offers, so not only are they cheap, but also really tasty. I recommend them!

Haven’t tried it myself, but two Devon Rex cats with “picky” tastes approve and eat it happily.
