Concept for Life Sterilised Cats with Chicken – in Gravy - cat wet food

After years of no success with other diet brands we moved our obese cat to Concept for Life Light and she’s finally losing weight and happy. She lost weight on the dry so we decided to try the wet too and she loves it despite usually being fussy! We’re now moving all our cats and kittens to Concept For Life foods.

Had this food in a "mystery" trial package from Zooplus and both our cats loved it. Lots of gravy and grain free... ordered it right away again.

a bit sceptical but so glad I tried it.My Maine Coon girl loves it and twirls in circles whilst I am filling her dish.I have noticed her scurf has gone her coat is really shiny and her poo doesnt smell anymore .

My cats are fussy and only ever seemed to like royal cannin or Iams I thought I would give concept for life a try and wow my cats went crazy for it. They loved it and leave no left overs. Would definitely recommend this dry cat food.

I actually don't want to feed my Maine Coon dry food, but after him trying this with a free sample bag I got, he won't eat anything else grrr lol.

Both my fussy eaters enjoy the Beauty variety. Jelly goes first, I find its better to break up the meat chunks a little to ensure they eat them as well

I have 2 elderly cats aged 17 and was finding it difficult in resourcing a wet cat food for over 10 year olds apart from the well-known brands which they won’t entertain anymore as the older they get the more fussy they become. They took a while in accepting this brand but now absolutely love it so I will be sticking with this one as their main choice, just a shame they don’t do other flavours.

I’ve always feed my Maine Coons with Royal Canin but tried this as it was on offer. Maine Coons, Birmans and the old moggie absolutely loved them. Will need the 10kg bag next time. Pleased to have found an alternative

All my cats love this, it has sorted loose tummies and picky eaters all in one swoop.

I feed my cat varying brands so that she will hopefully get a good diet overall. I try to avoid anything with sugar or poor quality ingredients. As with most cats, there's occasionally a food she won't touch or is reluctant to eat, including some of the top quality 'natural' brands. But she immediately took to this (the 'Sterilised Cats - in Jelly' variant) and always eats it all.

I do rotate various foods for my cat to stop her getting bored; I bought this recently & she absolutely loves it. Whilst she can be picky with some foods this one and the gravy version are gobbled up. Will definitely repurchase.

It took a while for my rather fussy British Shorthair to come around to this but now he has it goes down a treat and he is no longer being sick - which is why I bought this food in the first place.

I can't usually find anything all 4 of my cats eat but this has gone down really well so I'm a very happy cat mummy in that respect.....however.....what am I feeding them zooplus?!? Ingredients are like RC (vague), not a lot to go by including what meat is the main flavour or indeed how much meat is in there. It also contains derivatives so I am opting with the fact it isn't the best of quality and therefore the asking price is too high (unless we can have better ingredients proving otherwise)

My kitten really loves this food and her fur looks amazing. Stick to the feeding instructions for the best results.

This food has gone down really well with my three cats - first the lick off all the jelly and then eat the chunks of meat! They seem to prefer this over Concept for Life in gravy

Judging by my cats' behaviour, the food tastes bad and it doesn't fill them up either.

My cat is particularly picky and until now would only eat products from one brand. But this time he really surprised me, gobbling up the pouch like crazy. The texture is very rich, but also easy for the cat to chew. The smell alone tempted him to try it, which is a good sign for me. The packaging of one pouch is the perfect portion for an adult cat. I’ll definitely come back to these when I order food for my Edward next time.

My cat really likes this food! She eats it eagerly, and her bowl is usually licked clean. It has a nice texture and a strong, meaty smell. Big plus for the ingredients tailored for cats after sterilisation. Kitty is happy, so we'll gladly keep coming back to this product.

The food has a formula tailored to the needs of sterilised cats, which helps maintain a healthy weight and supports urinary tract health. My Russian Blue really liked the food and eats it eagerly down to the last bite.

The food contains 82% meat and animal-derived products, but only 14% chicken – the rest is a mystery. Overall, it's fine as a complete food for adult cats, but I wouldn't use it for everyday feeding. My tomcat only got to taste it, so I can't comment on health effects or improvements in coat appearance, etc. The meat pieces look appetising, soft and fresh. He liked the sauce the most.

The food was really tasty for my picky cat, has a very good composition, the right consistency, and the perfect packaging – the sachet is the best solution for a single portion of cat food. It's available in many shops.

My cat really liked this food. The look and smell are a big plus. The perfect texture makes my cat more eager to eat. Another big advantage is the handy sachets, which are easy to store.

Food gets a solid 4 plus. My kitty had to sniff around a bit before she started eating (but in the end, the bowl was licked clean). As for her fur – I haven’t noticed any changes yet, but that’s not surprising after just two weeks 😂 The price is wallet-friendly, the kitty is happy, and the smell is just like any other cat food.

My cat is healthy, has no allergies, and is a spayed indoor female. Like most spayed cats, Lulu has the appetite of a hippo, but as is typical for feline queens, she's quite picky. She really liked this food and licked her bowl clean. She didn't have any issues or discomfort after eating it. The pouch itself smells very pleasant. I generally like the pouch format because it's just the right amount for one meal. The food has a high meat content and is good quality. The price matches the quality—it's very reasonable. I hadn't bought this food before, but since trying it, we've stuck with it because my Lulu really took to it.

Unfortunately, Karma Concept for Life Sterilised Cats didn’t win over my cats. Even though the ingredients and the fact it’s made for sterilised cats seemed promising, my moggies were very sceptical about it. They tried it, but it definitely wasn’t a food they were keen to come back to. Sadly, this time the feline taste buds said "no". It won’t be making a return in our house.

One of my cats accepted the food without any problem, but the other one didn’t want to try it at all at first. I didn’t notice any changes in their weight or digestion. It’s hard to properly judge the quality of the food because the ingredients aren’t fully listed, and the only specific information about the meat is 14% chicken. Other than that, I didn’t notice any major differences in their condition, the smell of the food, or their appetite compared to other foods for neutered cats. However, I think the price doesn’t match the quality, and I wouldn’t buy it again.
