Product description
A natural wood nesting box for Budgies and includes a nest within the box.
This box is made of natural untreated wood and is specially designed to meet the needs of Budgies (also referred to as Australian Parrots). A mould for a nest is incorporated into the floor of the box. Furthermore, a wooden perch is included, which can be attached outside the entrance hole. The box can be opened from above. Entrance diameter: 4 cm.

Good value for money

Nice enclosed sand bath
I found my nest box to be well made with no sharp points or edges. I bought it as an enclosed sand bath for a fat-tailed gerbil, rather than for a bird, so had to enlarge the opening (easy and quick with a drill). My girl loves it, and I like it keeping most of the sand where it should be.

my lovebirds love it
i bought the larger one for my lovebirds & fixed it on their aviary fall. They've been in and out non-stop , playing at how many lovebirds can you get in a box!

Breeding boxes
I ordered three of these boxes - they were delivered very quickly and I am now the proud owner of six baby budgies. Excellent value, easy to clean and would highly recommend this product.

not suitable for budgies
great boxes but way too small for budgies would be good for canaries or zebra finches to nest in as the entrance hole and box ingeneral is just too small but other than that a good box

hi i have found these to be bye far the most sucessful boxes bye far.Have had great breeding results the females dont get disturbed to much from the opening at the top rather than the side opening ones and i dont loose eggs to the doorway as some can,Quality made and when kept clean last for longer and dont rot great boxes,DOYLES-BIRDS BREEDING FOR 10YRS.
