Skipjack Tuna rejected
Our cat enjoys a weekly treat of wet food, and the Cosma Original in Jelly has been a favourite for a number of years. Suddenly, the Tuna is no longer available, replaced with Skipjack Tuna. This doesn't even smell like the usual Tuna, and it sits untouched in her bowl. If you're looking for Tuna, skip the Skipjack Tuna!

Excellent cat food

Good quality
We have 2 cats, a European Shorthair and a Maine Coon. We bought the Maine Coon a year after the European Shorthair. We always use Felix for the European Shorthair.. because maine coons need a lot of protein for their joints, we switched to cosma. We were very impressed with the meat content in the food. Especially the tuna! Now both cats eat it and the European Shorthair has gained weight in a good way (She was always very small and thin). Definitely recommend!

Tuna (complete, not supplementary)
I bought the Tuna as it is a complete food rather than a supplementary food. The tuna meat and jelly offer a substantial and I would imagine very satisfying meal. A moist but fairly solid looking food however it does break up easily when served. Less meat and protein content than the Tuna thrive Complete I usually give our cat but the Cosma is at a lower price. So it can be bettered but is a good food and good value – and our cat likes it.

Seems good but cat doesn't like it
I have a fussy cat but my mum told me about this product and how it positively affected her cat who previously refused eating any wet food. I think I got overly excited because my cat, Trouble, just did not want to eat it. I tried 4 times now but she'd rather not eat at all (or eat dry food) than eat this, I have to say the food looks good and better than many, so for that reason I give it some stars. Trouble's rating is unfortunately a bit worse.

Great quality and fantastic value for money
I tried my cat with Cosma as Applaws was starting to bankrupt me, but still wanted to feed her with a high quality wet food. I was very impressed with the contents of the tin when I opened the first one as the meat looked fantastic. Cosma contains jelly, which my cat wasn't initially crazy about, but I solved that problem by pouring a tiny amount of hot water into her bowl to break it down. She now wolfs down her Cosma quite happily and my bank balance is a lot healthier!
