Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
Adult cats (approx. 3-4kg) require approximately 280g - 370g per day, depending on their age and activity level. Serve at room temperature. Keep open cans in the fridge and use up within 24 hours. Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.
These tins are good quality cat food for affordable price. They are obviously not human-grade, but hey, they don't need to be. They look like animal / animal by-products, and contain no nonsense filler stuff such as grain / potatoes / rice, etc. My cats don't beg for smilla tins, but they certainly eat them without fuss.
There's usually some extra fat collected at the bottom of the tins, which I discard.

Great food, great price!
I have three young cats, one with a grain intolerance, after struggling to get grain free food that was affordable for 3 cats I came across this food, at first I was unsure as the price was so cheap I thought ‘this is never going to work’ boy was I wrong, my cats LOVE this food, all the flavours go down well, looks great and is lovely and moist, well worth trying!

not to my cats liking
no doubt this is a good quality food and contains a lot of protein. Unfortunately both my Toyger cats turn their noses up at this food so gave it all away to a cat shelter. i really should have tried a smaller package than 20 cans!

Miracle food
An absolute godsend much better than many of the more expensive cat food on offer out there made by the makers of comma which we used to bring our rescue babies up on very cheap but don't let that put you off its excellent.

A great wet food for cats
My two cats love this food and it's very good value for money. It's very meaty and compact so a little goes a long way. The fact that I can have bulky cans delivered quickly is a big plus for me.

Smilla --Cats love this...
This is soo good, say my cats, and much better value with much higher Meat/Fish Content than the more usual brands sold in Super Markets, which only contain 4% meat content..

My cats love it
it can give them smelly poops but they're mad about it!

Good quality food
We switched to this from a simular German brand due to costings. I do find this food to be very fatty in the bottom.
Our cat & kitten love it and it suits their sensitive tummies. The cats fur is a lot better, she is much happier and gained the weight required after being dumped with 5 kittens! It smells good quality compared to your well known cat food brands. It does have a good meat content and you can see that.
We're just trying Similla light due to costing and them being indoor cats.
Highly recommend this food even if your cat doesn't require grain free as after lots of research cats shouldn't have grain.

Diabetic cat holy grail!
I cannot stress enough how amazing this food is. After having a cat develop diabetes at 5years old, we have tried so many different types of food and he was still insulin dependent. However, after trying this brand I am ecstatic to say that Elliott is no longer diabetic, and it is purely down to this food! It's criminal that other cat food brands can put so much s**t into their products, yet this product is gran free and addictive free and it has worked wonders for my cats health! Amazing.

Surprisingly Good quality
I thought I'd try a new wet food as my cats had gone off felix, and even though the packaging does seem cheap and didn't give me much assurance, the reviews made me trial it out. My cats love the stuff. It smells and looks good. It better than felix and doesn't break the bank!

My parent's cats Sally and Grace go crazy about this food, as proposed by zooplus this is a great multipack with many different flavours.
Good value for money

If only I'd started feeding this earlier
I have 5 cats, two are almost 14, but I also have a young one who's 1 year old. I gave them relatively cheap wet food for several years (Felix price range) which wasn't always well received. I was especially worried about the older cats, until I found this Smilla brand. Everything has been looking good ever since, they're in a good mood, they have beautiful coats, and they seem younger. Summary: worth spending a little more to have healthy cats!

Great food
I love it, after prolonged periods of diarrhoea and very smelly poo we tried Smilla and ordered a little packet of them.
In 2 days the diarrhoea was gone, and in 4 so was the unpleasant smell. From now on I will be ordering in bulk. Great food at an amazing price.

fussy madam enjoying this!
when my picky madam started turning up her nose at her usual staple (hills wet pouches) I logged on to zooplus to buy a stock of her favourite cosma chicken.
She'd had Smilla treats before (came a while ago as a free gift) and enjoyed them, so seeing good reviews of this product - and how cheap compared to her usual brands, I decided to give it a try.
I did unpack the cans with trepidation, but so far she's had three helpings of the Chicken flavour and seems to be really enjoying it.
So that's around 15p for 85g, compared to around 70p a pouch compared for her normal food - bargain, and a happy cat.

Juicy and smells good too
I'm happy, 4 out of 6 cats are eating this. I ordered Smilla Grain Free with Salmon and it smells good, is soft and juicy.

Delicious, very juicy
We've just tried the new grainfree Smilla pots and we're happy. A juicy, light consistency with lots of meaty chunks and a pleasant aroma. It would be great if there were smaller sizes available. But it's excellent quality and my cats thoroughly recommend it :-)
