It is much more relaxing if your cat spends dangerous times indoors, such as at rush hour or at night when other animals may be roaming the garden. An easy, innovative way of controlling outside access has been developed, using a five-way rotary lock (Unlocked, In Only, Out Only, locked and Timed Exit Lock) which is a piece of cake to programme. The timer function allows you to choose specific times which work for you, during which your cat can pass freely through the cat flap. The robust material of the Cat Mate Cat Flap with Timer Control makes it draft proof and weatherproof, and ensures it fits perfectly wherever it is installed.

Misleading picture/information

In picute and bold letters the "Cat Mate Cat Flat with Timer Control" is mentioned. In small letters (not bold) an adapter kit is mentioned. All reviews of this products are about the "Cat Mate Cat Flap withTimer Control", not about the adapter!!! This is very misleading and of course I bought a useless Adapter Kit.

Very good quality cat flap

This cat flap is as good as previous reviews but I cannot for the life of me work out how to programme for the evening In Only mode so I have to do it manually at night and in the morning. The instructions need to be much clearer; I think there is a stage missing.

Finally a cat flap that works

This is the third type of microchip flap that we've bought. The 1st one only worked when connected to mains power. The 2nd one would only open from the inside, so our cat was stuck outside. This cat flap keeps our little escape artist inside when it's locked. He had a bit of difficulty to start. The reader takes a short time to read the microchip before it opens the door. He is used to it now.

Perfect

This cat flap does what it should. The manual makes installation and setup relatively simple. The flap opens for the right cats at the right time!
