Product description

100% natural cat litter (formerly Green Power) made of active wood fibres for effective liquid & odour absorption. Biodegradable, firm-clumping and with an antibacterial effect thanks to green pearls.

Cat's Best Sensitive is an efficient, completely natural clumping cat litter, completely free from artificial or chemical additives, as well as being sustainable and 100% biodegradable. This litter is made with 100% natural active wood fibres. With the help of a complex technological process, these active wood fibres can absorb up to 7 times the litter's on volume in moisture and odours, allowing the Cat's Best Sensitive litter to remain in a litter tray for up to 7 weeks.
The anti-bacterial effects of this Cat's Best Sensitive are based on natural components, with green pearls that can help to support antibacterial hygiene in your cat's litter tray.
This Cat's Best Sensitive cat litter has been specially developed for sensitive cats and has fine grains that are gentle on paws. The litter forms compact clumps that can be easily removed allowing for economical litter use. It is recommended that you simply remove solid waste from the tray and dispose of these clumps in organic waste or your own household toilet.
Cat's Best Sensitive is made using PEFC-certified secondary wood products from the wood-working industry, in harmony with nature and meaning no trees need to be chopped down to create this litter!

Cat's Best Sensitive at a glance:
  • Highly efficient, completely natural clumping cat litter
  • Made from 100% natural wood fibres: from nature
  • With green plant-based hygiene pearls: natural odour blockers that stop bad odours before they even develop and support anti-bacterial hygiene
  • Can absorb up to 7 times its own volume in moisture: premium absorbency for dry paws and optimum clumping
  • Forms extra-strong clumps: can be simply removed from litter without leaving crumbs
  • Economical: the main body of litter can remain for up to 7 weeks
  • Pure natural product: no artificial or chemical additives
  • 100% biodegradable & compostable: individual clumps can be disposed of in the household toilet or organic waste
  • Sustainable & PEFC-certified: with wood fibres sourced from domestic fir and spruce trees in sustainable forests
  • Extra-fine: particularly smooth and soft on paws, for optimum comfort even for sensitive cats
  • Easy to transport: up to 40% lighter than mineral litter
Disposal instructions:
Please only dispose of individual waste clumps in the toilet, one at a time and flushing thoroughly to allow enough water to pass through the clumps. Only once one clump has fully flushed should another clump be disposed of. It is easier if you crush the clumps with the litter scoop prior to flushing.
The household toilet is not suitable for emptying the entire litter tray. Please observe local regulations regarding disposal of this in your compost or local residual waste.

Perfect

It is the best cat litter I ever used. Well clumping, soft and lasts a long time.

Accidentally ordered the wrong litter

I accidentally ordered this litter. I normally get the wood pellets and I was so skeptical about this litter and how long it would last. It is the best litter I've used. I have 4 cats - 1 will only go to the toilet outside, 2 who will go both outside and in the litter tray, and 1 who will only use the litter tray - This litter has lasted 2 months, and that was with cleaning it out every 1 -2 days. I will only be ordering this litter from now on.

Great litter

Lovely litter, when cats wees just a small mound forms and doesn’t affect the whole tray. Good odour control but terrible for tracking. I’ve tried most of the cats best and so far this is my favourite

Brilliant, but not recommended if you have any carpets or rugs

I’ve been using cat’s best sensitive for a good while. It clumps well, hides odours and even smells lovely. But, and this is a big BUT…. It tracks so badly. I don’t mind a bit of hoovering. But the issue is, that despite the closest rug being around 6m away from the litter box, the tracking gets stuck in it so bad and even further up the stairs. The litter really gets stuck in the rug and carpet and is so difficult to clean. I have to switch again to pellets I’m afraid.

Best cat litter

Initially used wood pellets but cleaning the litter tray becomes such a chore and I don't think it covers poo very well. I was also concerned that the sawdust is an irritant to my cat's URI. Cat's Best may not come in large packs but I am only having to clear out any mess as and when done and it does not seem to aggravate the URI. It does have the drawback of being kicked out of the tray but with a covered tray you do not get this issue. I will not go back to another type of litter.

Updated review

I initially gave this litter a brilliant review, it is great in every way except the tracking is ridiculous, I put up with it for a while, even bought a cordless hoover, but the mess was just too much, it gets everywhere! I'm really disappointed as I could not fault it otherwise, the search for the perfect litter continues!

Good odour control, fair clumping, bad tracking

It's one of the best I've tried for absorbing odours without being perfumed. I like the fact that it's made from natural wood (and I presume other fibre material) and it's clumping fairly well. However, it's so fine and so light that its being carried all over the house. Also quite expensive and comes in too small package units. Won't use this again for that reason.

Brilliant!

I have 8 indoor cats & I'm a full time cat sitter so I've used pretty much every type/brand of cat litter available, this is BY FAR THE BEST! Lightweight, small granules, clumps brilliantly but does not stick like cement to the tray as some litters do, clumps can be flushed down the toilet, just don't flush too much at once, completely absorbs all urine odour & DOES NOT use perfumes or artificial scent, only downside is tracking but I've found all litters do that & bags could be bigger

Green power

Really light, fine but really absorbant, it would also be good to use in omega paws litter boxes. I use either worlds best, natures calling and at the moment super benek (for open trays). I have 3 cats of which one is a maine coon kitten who is a poop machine! so my priority for cat litter is cost, clumping and whether you can flush it down the loo. As they're using a lot at the moment. But when he's stopped growing I would definitely consider this if it came in bigger packs.
