Product description

New design, same great quality! This efficient, clumping cat litter is scent-free and uses patented TRIPLE ACTION technology. It is 99.9% dust free, ideal for sensitive cats. Formerly Extreme Classic.

New design, same great quality - this Intersand Classic Unscented Cat Litter, formerly Extreme Classic, uses exclusive patented TRIPLE ACTION™ to effectively get rid of unpleasant odours.
Thanks to this extra-strong quick-clumping litter from Intersand Classic, clumps of litter will not get stuck on your cat's paws or the base of the litter tray. This helps ensure your cat's litter tray is quick and easy to clean, and prevents soiled litter falling out of the tray.
The high absorbency of around 350% its own weight makes Intersand Classic Unscented Cat Litter even more economical to use, as only the clumps need to be regularly removed. The entire tray does not need to be changed with every clump - simply top it up at regular intervals!
Intersand Classic Unscented Cat Litter is also 99.9% dust-free, which helps minimise the dirt brought into your home, protecting both your help and that of your cat. This premium cat litter is a natural product from Canada and entirely non-toxic.

Intersand Classic Unscented Cat Litter at a glance:
  • Premium clumping litter with extra-strong clump formation
  • With TRIPLE ACTION™: patented technology to neutralise odours
  • Unscented
  • 350% absorbency rate

Poor
Sticky, heavy, dirty. Will not use again. I don't understand the good reviews.

Dirty and heavy
I don't understand the good reviews this litter gets. It is very heavy, and can't be composted; it does track, despite claims to the contrary; it does stick to the bottom of the tray, again despite the claim it doesn't, and it makes a nasty dark sticky mess; and the odour control is very poor. I will not buy this again.

Best I've found so far...
I've tried a few types of litter but none are perfect. This is the best I've found so far. Pros: clumps well, doesn't smell, a bag last quite a long time Cons: tracks quite a bit, needs cleaning out regularly or the litter gets stuck to the side of the tray

Further to my previous poor review.....
Perhaps we had an iffy batch last time, but this bag is much better, back to normal I would say. Our 'girls' are happier with it, so all is calm and smelling sweetly again in our household.

Hmm, not yet convinced
I bought this because of its 'dust-free' rating as one of our five cats became quite allergic to all the dust some others created. He's much better with this one. However despite creating easily-removable lumps upon use (which is what we wanted), the litter STILL tracks through the house (which we don't want)! Our cats always spend ages cleaning their paws before exiting any of the lidded litter boxes that we have. But there is always a good amount of litter to clean up each day from the two large mats that are placed around each litter box, and I find litter travelling as far as 12 feet from the boxes.

This stuff, no other.
What a joy this litter is. It clumps amazingly well, making cleaning easy and quick. I have the babypowder scented one, it is a delight. My cat loves it. Urine scent is sealed perfectly. (Nothing can completely seal in cat poo, it is too potent.) Go get this stuff, it does what it says and does it well.

Almost but not quite as good as WBCL
To be fair, if I had started off with this brand of cat litter I'd probably be happy. It clumps effectively and while it does track (ALL litter tracks to a degree) it is relatively minimal to other brands I've seen. It also seems to control odour equally well. However, I started off with World's Best Cat Litter and was shopping around for a replacement because WBCL is awesome but costly. As a result I wasn't quite delighted and have reverted back to WBCL. First of all, it's a lot denser than the corn grain so more weight doesn't mean it takes up as much space. But really I had two major problems with its performance: (1) stickiness - the clumps were not as neat as with WCBL, leaving sticky residue on the scoop, on the side of the litter box, and sometimes breaking up. I practically had to scrub my litter scoop with an old toothbrush to get rid of some of the clay, and similarly cleaning the slats on my overspill tray was not enjoyable. When it came to to change the litter box it was much messier than usual and because it's clay I couldn't just wash the remaining particles down the bathtub drain. This stickiness extended to finding small bits of clay stuck to the walls outside the (covered!) litter box and around the entrance. (2) dust - it does track a little, really no more than WCBL, but the problem with the dust isn't the tracking. WBCL is relatively coarse, and the finer dust tends to settle to the bottom of the box. Extreme Classic is much finer all around and scooping my large litter box often felt like I was kicking up a cloud of dust that I had to try and not breathe in. By the time it came to change the litter box there was literally a fine film of dust on top of the box. It doesn't feel pleasant and if push comes to shove, I'd rather have corn dust than clay dust around the place. Overall I found that litter box maintenance with Extreme Classic was just higher than with WBCL and while I am still looking to reduce costs, I am not sure I am happy with this particular trade off so I've gone back.

Good, not perfect
I got this litter to try out after using Cat's Best, and reading a review that said this one is better and doesn't track as much. In comparison, this is a very good cat litter but I am not decided if it is better or worse than Cat's Best. - Tracking: this also tracks, and gets kicked out of the tray compulsively, but as it is a sandy texture it is not as visible. Most of it tends to stay in the area around the tray. - Smell: Very little to no smell, very satisfied with this! Would say it is as good if not better than Cat's Best. - Clumping: The clumps are great, formed like little stones, very easy to remove when they are in the middle of the tray. If she pees on the sides, however, which she does do quite often, the clumps stick on the tray and on the scoop as well, and are a slimy mess to get out. Not being able to flush them down the loo is not a problem as such, just slighly less convenient. Overall it takes a bit more time to clean the tray & scoop than with Cat's Best, but involves a bit less time to sweep around the flat.

Husband
This is the best cat litter I have used for our 2 cats. The only thing my husband can smell know is Baby powder. The litter clumps together when used and it is easy to scoop out. Every two weeks the cat tray is thoroughly cleaned out. With other brands of cat litter my husband could smell the tray and would constantly let me know, now both cats and my husband are very happy. I just wish we had known about this litter years ago. As for scoring we would rate this product 10/10. Five is far to low. Thank you so much Zooplus.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
I have tried nearly every cat litter I could afford and have to say this one is by far THE BEST. When I say this one I am talking about all 3 Extreme Classic types. It absorbs the liquid as well as most importantly the smells instantly, no mess, easy to clean with any scoop-most importantly my 2 cats prefer it to any other as it's gentle on their paws.

The best Cat litter so far
I tried the world's best cat litter, its really good in clumping but sometime sticks to my cats paws and leaves very stinky smells when they did their job. Extreme classic unscented cat litter really did a very good job in odor control and it doesn't really sticks on my cats paws but not really good in clumping. But i think it's still one of the best so far as my problem was i don't really like too much stinky smell going on in my house. Will definitely buy another one. Thanks.

Recommend but it does stick to paws...
It clumps brilliantly and the clumps don't break up, however it does stick to my cats paws (perhaps because the granules are so small?), and my cats track a lot of it around the room so that's the bit I'm not happy about. Using the same litter box, the worlds best cat litter is really the best (no tracking!!!) but I find that cat litter far too expensive and this is far more economical in terms of price/performance.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!
I thought the previous product I had was great but this is far superior. It clumps extremely well, no waste, the 'clump' doesn't break up as it's been removed from the litter tray and it doesn't break up when the shovel hits it in the litter tray-it's brilliant stuff.

Excellent for fussy cat
We have a fussy cat and although she could go outside she chooses not to and had decided to relieve herself in various parts of the house. We have tried a range of litters to varying effect (she refuses to use wood chip and crystals) but this is the first litter she seems happy to use every time rather than intermittently. It doesn't smell and is easy to clean out the mess. Will definitely buy again - the extra money on litter is saving us on carpet cleaning!

Good but heavy and gets stuck in the paws
Its the first time I have used a fine grain litter. It is very effective at odour control and also at clumping, in fact it is so effective that the wet litter it difficutk to get out of the tray with it being clay, it becomes solid and I have to scrape and scrape it at it to get it out. It doesnt need changing often (I have 3 cats) you just take the clumps out and fill it up. However with it being so fine it gets everywhere. I'm always seeing little grains about the house, on the settee, on my dark grey carpet. Another thing is it gets stuck in my Maine coons paws. I am gong to try a different litter to time because although it's cost effective and has good odour control, the maintenance required (vacuuming and difficulty cleaning litter tray) means its not for me.

Tried and Tested
I have tried several of the cat litters listed here and this one is by far the best. The clumping is excellent and so is the odour control. There is virtually no tracking and it works out to be very economical, two bags last absolutely ages. I clean the soil out once or twice a day, I have four cats, and what is left is virtually clean. I put about three inches in the litter tray and this helps with the odour control I think. A first class product and I shall definitely keep using it.

Better that Oko Cat's Best
Like the reviewer above, I've always used oko cat's best previously as it clumps well. However, within a week or so, the remaining litter always turned to dust, so inevitably, you would have to throw it all out. With this Extreme Classic, I don't have that problem anymore! And it does clump beautifully. One of my three cats jumped straight in after watching me change the litter tray with interest. Two sniffs and he was happily using the new litter. He seemed to love the way it felt on his paws too, judging by the amount of treading the was doing. One other major plus point is this one doesn't track at all like my last brand. Get it, you won't be disappointed!

carriers moan!
I love Extreme cat litter because it is so economical, but the carriers moan when I order 2 15kg as they say they are to heavy, well let them pay the difference I have to pay when ordering the 7kg. But that will not stop me from buying it always.
