thrive Cat Treats

My two seemed to really like it initially, but got bored quickly. Perhaps they are a bit spoiled! Product seems good quality - I got the Tuna & there was a strong fish smell from it. Unfortunately the tube must have came open during delivery so the contents were spilled through the box

Tuna variety Thrive treats (closely followed by the chicken) are my cat’s absolute favourite - she turns her nose up at most other similar products and gobbles these down as fast as she can. However, the most recent tuna tubes I’ve bought have not been as good quality & inedible - they’re hard, irregular shaped & not as recognisable as decent pieces of protein as they used to be.

Got the chicken flavour as a gift with loyalty points and both cats went mad for them, even the fussy one who usually takes her time with new things couldn't eat them fast enough!

it took some time for my cat to figure it out , but now can get the food out of the plastic balls etc which has slowed her eating down

They'll even break the cupboard with all of their paws!

My 7 month old ragdoll can't get enough of these, he used to only really eat dry food but if you sprinkle these (they are freeze dried so break up easily) on top of his wet food, the whole bowl is gone and he's crying for more. If like me, you're always needing to spend an extra few pounds to get free postage, pop one of these in your basket and you can't go wrong (I have tried fish and chicken on my kitten) I'm going to try the wet food next as all their food is just 100% meat/fish

Thought I'd order some of these for a change for my 2 cats. They absolutely love these. When I opened the tube I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it wasn't what was inside and it half crossed my mind "do I feed them as they are or do I need to rehydrate?!". I know, I probably sound really stupid. Anyway the cats prefer them to any other treats. As an example of this - I recently bought the cat activity board. I sprinkle various different treats in the different areas/modules (if you've seen this thing you'll know what I mean). There are 4 transparent globe shaped containers and I'd noticed that the cats always either ignore this bit (too much hassle or too tricky to get the biscuits out) or they don't tackle it until the very end when there are no other biscuits to be had. This time I put the Thrive chicken treats in the globes and straight away this was the area of most interest. I even saw the kitten twice slap the older cat's head to make her back off and to prevent her getting to the treats. The devil!

My two Ragdolls just adore the Thrive fish, chicken and tuna treats - no other treats will do now they've tried these. There is a mad panic if it looks like we are going to run out!

I bought the sample pack for a treat for my fussy cats based on the reviews. Neither of my two cats would even taste any of the flavours, just sniffed at them and walked away. Maybe it is my cats at fault and not the product.

my guest cat's attitude to me has noticeably improved since I started giving him the chicken version of these. production/rattling of the tube produces behaviour I've only seen before on ads for cat food, and even if I just say 'chicken' now he gets very expectant. tempted to try some myself.

I have bought these now for a few years from Waitrose. Like most of the reviewers have found these are pure cat magic! Mine love the prawn ones; the dust in the bottom of the tube is great tipped over food if you have a fussy or poorly cat that is not eating, as it really encourages them! Like others my cats always respond to the rattle of the the thrive tube! The poor dog sits there wondering what he is missing out on! Some reviewers have found their cats did not like them, persist try another variety, mine prefer the prawn my Mothers cat hates them and loves the chicken. Am so pleased Zooplus carries them as my local Waitrose stopped the prawn ones and was previously buying at higher cost from ebay. One caution am a little concerned if high in salts so really ration with my elderly ragdoll in case of overloading his kidney function.

I have a very picky middle aged Siamese, but she loves these, (likes all flavours, I haven't yet tried her with Prawn). I only have to shake the tube and she's there. I sometimes crumble a piece onto food, which has made her clear the plate. Most pieces are too large to give whole, break them up first. On one occasion (& it's never happened again) a piece got stuck in her mouth, on the mouth roof I think, & she started clawing at her mouth - I just flicked the piece free - this is why I say, treat them literally as treats, with you there in attendence. I don't have any qualms about giving her them, but I stay around to make sure all is well.

Despite the fact that these look like polystyrene, they are by far my cat's favourite treats (and I've tried them with most things). They both adore the chicken ones and my fish loving cat goes nuts for the fish ones. Interestingly though, neither of them will touch the prawn ones.....

My 2 cats adore these treats and will do anything for them. We use them as a reward when they come back from being outside, or need a brush. They even sit on command for these treats! Be warned though my little boy cat will jump up on the side , knock them on the floor, pull the lid off and happily munch the lot!

I bought the prawns for my cat - yammy :). Very good as reward-treats. One thing though:This prawn-product has 11% salt (quite a high content of salt), so don't overfeed your cat with these treats... (it says 1-2 pieces 1-2 times a day, so a maximum of 4 pieces per day is enough, even though your cat might disagree..)

If in doubt about what treats buy one as a sampler. I tried the chicken and my two Kittens absolutely love these. The only word of warning is be careful on feeding ... I've gotten one or two puncture marks from them trying to eat through my fingers when giving them out. They're easy to break/crumble down into small eatable bits as well.

I bought the chicken and prawn ones for my cat and he goes loopy when I get them out. He only has to see the tube and he's howling like a lunatic! I either just give him a few in a small dish as a treat now and again or if he's being a bit fussy with his food I mix some in and its gone within minutes!! Very highly recommended and I will defintely be purchasing many more tubes in the future!!

Our cats absolutely adore thrive cat snacks, especially the prawn variety. Pure freeze dried prawns - I'm almost tempted myself! It's an excellent way to entice them from their hiding place when they pretend not to hear you calling.
