It is specifically designed to reduce the risk of struvite stone recurrence.The diet food for cats has a reduced magnesium content. Magnesium is one of the building blocks for struvite stones. Furthermore, Kattovit Urinary with Chicken contains urinary acidifying ingredients - DL-methionine, calcium sulfate and ammonium chloride - to promote an optimal urine pH value, which makes the formation of urinary stones more difficult. The diet cat food is made with chicken and is well accepted thanks to its tasty recipe.
