Note: Get your pet used to spending time in the crate gradually and gently. Start by letting your pet relax in the crate with the door open. Only then should you get them used to being in the closed crate, gradually increasing the length of time they spend there. To begin with, stick to short test drives in the car. The crate should never be used as a punishment, as it should be a safe and positive place for your pet.
