Please note: This item has been treated with a harmless water-based varnish. This varnish offers the first layer of weather protection against, but the product should be regularly retreated when used outdoors. Without care, wood dries out and can become brittle or wear down and look bad. So it’s important to thoroughly clean and treat the dog kennel regularly. We recommend pens and kennels be treated appropriately for outdoor use. To do this, please use animal-safe wood care and varnish products and choose a location that is as shielded as possible to reduce weather-related wear and tear.

Tip: To make your dog feel extra comfortable in the kennel, we recommend putting a soft blanket or cuddly bed inside.

Important for outdoor use: The dog kennel should not be too large, as the dog creates a cosy and warm climate with its own body heat and only then can it maintain it. If the kennel is too large, there is a risk that the dog will quickly become cold.
