It was developed by veterinary surgeon John Burns and is a product of the highest British quality.The dog food has a low-fat formula that makes it easier for your dog to manage its weight. It is also hypoallergenic and therefore well tolerated by dogs with sensitive diets. The tasty fish provides high-quality animal proteins, while the fibre-rich oats can contribute to normal digestive function. Sadly doesn’t agree with my girls
I changed over to Burns F&R after winning a bag at a dog show. Both have cart iron stomachs and Initially ok but they’ve both had really runny poo after giving this for a few days so sadly I need to revert back to my previous food. 😢

Wholesome except crumbling
I feel the food seems more wholesome than other brands but it’s annoying how there is a significant amount of crumbs and kibble dust in most 12kg bags. Dogs love the food and flatulance isn’t such an issue with this brand
Burns Adult Fish and Brown Rice Food
We changed our labrador's food for a month and her coat became very dull. We changed back to Burns Adult fish and brown rice food and her coat is now is lovely and glossy. Really impressed with this food.

I have been feeding my 9 year old Labrador on Burns food for most of her life with different flavours.... I can’t speak highly enough of it.
It is excellent, she loves it, easily digested, (poo doesn’t have the bad smell tinned food does)
Her coat is shiny and excellent condition. She is a good weight, not fat. I weigh her food each day, to maintain her weight.
The food in the last 15kg bag from Zooplus was in perfect condition, not crushed and I expect this will be the same.

Burns senior weightwatcher dry food
My dog loves this food and I am able to maintain her now acceptable weight with it's use. This was becoming difficult as she is a 13/14 year old GSD with CDRM and cannot run about as she used to. Thank you Burns and LSO Zooplus for your prompt service.
Great all round dog food
Really had problems with our Labrador with tummy upsets when she was a puppy we changed to Burns puppy and have never looked back, she's now on adult and would not change it
Great product
We have been using Burns dry dog food for the past 2 yrs for our black labs. It is good quality and great for their stomachs, not much mess to clear up either!. We used it for our 13yr old lab ( who unfortunately had to be put to sleep on 16th Sept) and it helped with his kidney and liver function. Now we only have a 2yr old lab and he has a fantastic shiny coat and loads of energy. We will certainly be keeping him on this food and only wish we had discovered it when our older dog was young. Have just recieved our 1st order from Zooplus and cant fault the service, delivery and price. Also got a free sqeaky chicken and a pack of dog treats!,our young lab is a bit wary of the sqeaky toy but thats because he is a big softie!!.
The best I've tried!
My 2 Black Labradors thrive on this and have done for several years. They enjoy it and I wouldn't buy anything else, especially taking into account the not so small matter of picking up their poo! Other manufacturers' dry dog food 'residues' always seem to smell much worse. And the food itself doesn't smell fishy either so is fine to handle.
