Concept for Life Golden Retriever Adult is tailored, premium nutrition based on the individual dietary requirements of adult Golden Retrievers.
- Cardiac support & function: The formula has been enriched with taurine and unsaturated EPA and DHA fatty acids, which can have a positive effect on cardiac health.
- Ideal weight maintenance: The balanced calorie content in this formula can help Golden Retrievers to maintain their ideal weight. In addition, L-carnitine can help to activate the body’s own fat reserves.
- Cartilage and joint protection: The formula contains a special mix of nutrients, including the cartilage building components glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate. Vitamin C can also promote the formation of collagen, which is important for cartilage in Golden Retrievers.
- Size-adapted kibble: The large kibble has been adjusted in size to suit Golden Retrievers and to stimulate intensive chewing action, which may stop your dog from gobbling their food.
- Shiny fur and healthy skin: The special vitamin-B-complex, in combination with copper, organically-bound zinc, and high-quality omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, help to promote glossy fur and support the skin’s natural barrier function.

Dogs love it
Due to rising cost of royal cannin I switched my 2 golden retrievers onto this brand and so far they are loving it. No tummy issues and both seem to really enjoy it.

Very good kibble. My Golden Retriever Pepsy had some runny poos but this food has put an end to all of that. He loves it. And you can't fault the price. Highly recommended

He really likes this food, the pieces have a good size that gets him to chew properly. He likes them so much that he chooses them as treats during his training.,

Our 2 Goldies love it
Thought we try this as a cost saving as the only other brand that is breed specific. Our 2 Goldies have previously enjoyed various Royal Cannin products, from Retriever to Giant Breed, to Labrador and joint care. With their sense gives stomachs it suits them well and there were no issues changing to Concept. My only criticism, the kibbles are small for large dog breeds.

Finally a nutitious food my dog LOVES !!
I have had 3 years of trying every different, nutritious dry food there is. Always the first day of the latest food she would seem to be really enjoying it, but then the next day or two she would turn her nose up and I'd end up supplementing it and disguising it just to use it up. With CONCEPT my worries are over!! SHE LOVES IT!!! full of energy and looking good!! Thankyou !!!

Recommended
This is a great kibble, lots of nutrients and a great price. My woody is fairly fussy but has eaten all of this food about 90% of the time, I would recommend it.

gave this a try as price looked good and content sounded as if premium. my Germen Shepherd seemed to enjoy it, I'm ordering a large bag now , so far so good

Too rich
Started my labrador on this last week with high hopes but, unfortunately, her flatulence came back and I have had to go back to her other food. It looks as though her digestion couldn't cope with it so, sorry, won't be buying again.

Great food
I mixed this with my dogs original food so I could introduce it slowly. Both dogs picked out the large chunks from their bowls and eat those first. Both of them loved it.

MUST BE TRIED
I had my 13 year old cat on the cat version and the change in her was amazing, lively, playful. slimmed down to 5.5kgs and thick glossy coat. So I put my two lab pups on the junior and my older lab on the lab retriever. Everybody comments on what fine dogs they are, including the vets, good bone structure,glossy coats and very healthy. Less poos in garden (and cat litter) and all 4 love it and lick their bowls clean. I keep some aside and use as training treats and it makes training much easier

Concept for life Senior
I have placed my elderly dog (7) on this food as i wanted a highly quality food for him in his senior years. He eats it very quickly and has never refused a meal. I have also noticed that because I am feeding him significantly less, his poo is a lot smaller and less smelly. His coat has become very glossy. I am very happy with this product and can't recommend it highly enough, I will be keeping him on this food.

Concept for life Large Junior
I bought this food for my 8 week old Labrador as i wanted high quality food for him to grow and develop properly on, I have not been disappointed. He has taken to it with ease it smells very nice and even better when warmed slightly. His Poo is small and unsmelly and he is always looking for his next meal. I will be switching him onto Labrador Adult when he is old enough. I cannot rate this food Highly enough

Seems to be tasty
I used to buy my dog food from 'RC' but I thought I should try something new, due to the price difference. My Sydney is really getting on well with this new food - if it continues to go this well, we will carry on buying Concept for Life.

Great food
I've finally found a kibble that my Maia, my two year old golden retriever, will eat happily! She now has a beautiful, thick coat and is always full of energy. Very satisfied!
