Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Hepatic is a complete diet for adult dogs, helping to support liver function in dogs with chronic liver insufficiency and other liver conditions. This dog food contains highly-digestible plant proteins in moderate amounts, to help support liver function. The copper content is extremely low, which can help to limit the amount that is stored in the liver cells.
This Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Hepatic dog food also has a high energy density, which allows you to reduce portion sizes. Need more flavors

This is the only product that my dog can eat because of her medical issues and she likes it but is now getting fed up with it as it is just one flavour. Any chance of mixing things up for her?...

He loves it!

Prescribed by the vet as my Border Collie has a portosystemic (liver) shunt causing seizures. I worried he wouldn't like it as he is not keen on dry kibble, but he loves it and scarfs up a bowlful in seconds! He has just had his op and this diet has kept him healthy and happy throughout. I am really happy with the Zooplus pricing too!

Life Saver

We run a small greyhound rescue centre and have a dog who was born with a small liver. Up until we started using Royal Canin Hepatic diet we thought we were going to have to have him put to sleep because he had constant diarrhea and vomiting and could not process his food properly and so would not thrive. Now he's eating this product he has a new lease of life and only occasionally has a stomach upset.

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet - Hepatic HF 16

My dog (10 year old Westie) had a big hard tummy from bloating and disastrous liver problems. The doctor prescribed a medication and this diet. After 2 weeks she's back to her normal self, jumping around like a puppy :) I would definitely recommend!

My little dog has a new lease of life!

My 6yr old Lhasa Apso bitch had been suffering from colitis for some months. She was very unhappy, had lost a lot of weight and had repeated courses of antibiotics and steroids from the vets. Eventually my vet suggested the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic food. She has now been on this for a few months and has a new lease of life! I am delighted. Yes, the food is quite expensive, but not as expensive repeated vets bills! Plus my dog is happy again!
