Looks like real shredded chicken - my cat loves it.

Because the price I usually use it as top up of other wet food, which makes my cats to scuff it every time, or as occasional treat. Soon as they hear tin opening, they are running. Definitely very tasty with natural ingredients. Would recommend to try.

All of my cats love this, I buy the fish flavours as one of my cats doesn't like chicken wet food. It's good for my 17 year cat's stomach as he gets diahorrea from cheap nasty foods like Whiskas and Bozita as well. Would give it 5 stars if it was a complete rather than complementary but I give them biscuits as well so that's covered.

Kitty loves the chicken and cheese! The bigger cans also mean he eatd more and doesn't feel the need to bury for later.

Fantastic food which my two Bengals love - even the Pumpkin! Beware though this is not a standalone food - you need to feed with a complete food as well if your cats don't catch and eat prey regularly - mine catch but don't eat. Probably because they're spoilt! My two share a tin each morning and night and have complete dry food during the day

One of my cats loves the chicken, the other loves the tuna. I've still to try my cats with any of the others but I will. I feel good that I'm feeding my two with a high protein good quality food.

All my cats love their weekly treat of Applaws. I enjoy serving it as it looks like real food, nothing like the highly processed packet foods. It's a hit here in many of the different options available.

It looks good quality and healthy, as you would expect for the price. My cat really likes the chicken one, she is not quite so keen on the tuna but on the whole this has been a good buy, if you are looking for something more nutritious than the supermarket brands.

I breed Burmese and couldn't recommend any other brand of wet food - this really is the best - along with your choice of dry, complete diet.

My picky tabby loves this food. He only eats the tuna versions but adores them and we are happy knowing that they are good quality too.

Our diabetic cat has always been a fussy eater and won't always eat the prescription diet. Our vet checked out the ingredients and quality of the applaws food and happily gave us the thumbs up. Our cat also gave it the paws up and tucks in every time

This is the only food our 19 month old cat will eat (the ocean fish flavour), although I must agree with another reviewer that since starting buying this food, the recipe has been changed and now the tins not only contain fish but more rice. I think this is to bulk it up and reduce costs to the producers but I don't have option to change variety as our wee Cammy is extremely fussy

Our 20 month old cat is extremely fussy and sniffs his food before eating it. He was fussy from birth and at first when he got him from breeder he would only eat fish and chicken which vet said wasn't good for him. After trying him with other proper cat food we found he would eat much to our delight the ocean fish applaws. So recommend for fussy felines

the best of quality food. also buy this as it has an ethical policy and isnt tested on animals . also reccomended by the uk PETA as a good feed for animal companions. as an animal lover this is important to me that i am feeding my pets ethically sourced food that other cats havent had to suffer in order that mine may be well fed. big thumbs up

I've had 2 cats for the last 5 years. Very fussy eaters. I've tried about 10-15 brands over the years. Without doubt, this is the food that they like best. The only problem is cost - this is one of the most expensive foods on the market (per kg). Chicken & Cheese seems to be a favourite, though I haven't tried the fish flavours. I'd also point out that this is probably about the only cat food I've smelt which looks good enough for human consumption. I cannot say this about any other brand.

My mum fed our cats Kitekat and fresh coley. We have lost 2 young cats to kidney failure recently and we decided enough was enough. Researched online, went to pet store and spoke to the vetinerary nurse about cat diets. Agreed that the general supermarket brands are equivalent to us eating a diet of ready meals. I threw so much away and we have 3 cats with very good appetites. They have Applaws tinned chicken or the fish one. They love it. Nothing gets wasted, empty bowls every time. Half a tin night and morning and healthy dried food from a famous brand with a gentleman's name always available as the rest of the diet. With Zooplus, using their offers and vouchers, the price is over a third cheaper than the petshop and I do not have to go and buy it as it is delivered free!! Wish I had found it before but just got sucked into the marketing ploys I guess. Thank you Zooplus for making this affordable.

This is about the only food my cat will eat. She's not a huge meat eater, licks the gravy and leaves the meat. She has kidney problems, won't eat the renal food but research has led me to this which is low in phosphorous so is suitable and she likes it.

Our four boys love this stuff. Never a morsel left and the 156g tins are perfect for 4 of them as they eat little and often, so for us one tin = 1 sitting. We started on this as little Pepsi had an upset tummy, and now they are addicted. As many reviewers have said, it's not complete, but we always have complete dry out for them to help themselves.

My two cats love it.

This is my second try with this food. The first pack (chicken breast without any extras) didn’t go down well with my cat. This time I bought the pumpkin variant because of some constipation issues. Unfortunately, my cat only ate half the portion again. On top of that, the food has a poor composition, so it can’t be used as a complete food, only as a supplement. Still, I thought it would be a nice way to mix up her meals. But unfortunately, it just didn’t work out.

I didn’t give 5 stars because my cats are less excited about this variety compared to the other Applaws ones. I recommend these tins because they’re enough for two cats for two days, the food looks good, smells nice, and the cats eat it all up happily. I understand it’s good for them to have options with pumpkin, alternating with others, for their digestion.

After switching our cat to this food, he was constantly hungry. Only after checking more thoroughly did we find out that, deep in the product description and printed in tiny letters on the can, there’s a note saying the food is “ideal as a supplement to daily dry food”. Our cat likes eating it, but the fact that it’s not a complete food should be clearly stated in the product description – preferably right at the start and in big letters. Because of this, I’m giving it 2 stars.

These cans are excellent. You can see the food just as it is, and most of it is meat/fish with hardly any rice. If I had to mention a downside, I’d prefer if there was no rice at all, but the quality is excellent and my cats love all the flavors.

I would prefer if the trial packs were a bit more varied and had a weight of about 100g. I bought 6 cans with some hesitation, but my cat eats this food quite willingly. For now, I’m testing just one flavor – plain chicken, as it’s the most acceptable for my picky cat. When you open the can, you can see strips of meat, and the smell isn’t off-putting like with some other foods. Unfortunately, it’s only a complementary food, so you can’t feed it all the time, and that’s why I’m giving one star less.

My cat wouldn’t even try this, just sniffed it and walked away. I tried offering a couple of tins with no luck at all. Otherwise, the product seems high quality and looks like real pieces of meat.

I have a tomcat and a cat; the cat mainly eats dry food and likes gravy, while the tomcat prefers only wet food. And this is the only meat that both of them eat completely, and there are never any leftovers.

My cats love it! They should make 400g tins.
