It’s empty in here!
My neutered tom cat, Sox, almost died twice because of a urinary tract blockage due to struvite stones. Since feeding him Hills Prescription c/d Urinary Stress products, both wet and dry,for about 3 years he's had no further problems. This product really does work.
Have this for our Sphynx boy who gets very stressed and develops cystitis as a result. His routine is a pouch of this with a Transforme Cystassist tablet mixed in (not available on Zooplus sadly) for breakfast, then he has kibble down (Royal Canin Sphynx dry) down for eating during the rest of the day. No vet visits in well over a year.
Great price compared to what the vet charges! always fast delivery and simple to order-I will be back!
My 19 year old cat was diagnosed with renal failure a few months ago. On recommendation from my vet we were told to switch to this food and have never looked back. She really enjoys it and has not developed the latter stages of renal failure, ie excessive thirst, as yet. I am sure this food is helping her. Doesn't smell too great but a small price to pay.
My 20 year old boy cat has had kidney failure for the past 5 months. His kidney functions have actually improved on this diet. The vet said he'd never seen a case where the blood works had improved and I'm very pleased; this has definitely extended his life. He is no longer vomiting or having diarrhoea.
In my case I have two Sphynx cats and I gave each of them half a pouch. Unfortunately they would rather leave it than eat it, so for us it didn't work, but it seems like a good quality product.
Before purchase I had a good look at the proportion of protein, and the chicken variety is perfectly suited to my cat's tastes. Every bowl is completely finished, and he's no longer vomiting. He's gained weight and is behaving normally again (he's 13 years old and has chronic renal failure).
Excellent product that I gave to my old cat suffering from kidney failure, and he's doing much better now - he regained his appetite!
I would like to ask why zooplus doesn't also have the beef and salmon flavours. They are excellent and would complement the variety they already have.
My cat really loves this and is looking better
My boy is picky but luckily he loves this diet, and it helps with his diarrhoea. His teeth are also looking healthier and I'm happy :)
My old cat Othello (15 years old) has had chronic renal failure for several months and we were feeding him the dry K/D food. The vet advised me to try these pouches in addition to the kibble, and he not only loves it but it also allows us to make sure he gets his daily medication (we grind up the tablets and hide it in the wet food). He was getting quite thin but now his little belly is back, and every morning he can't wait to eat this food.
Very good for regulating their digestion when they feel unwell, and they eat it very happily.
She always pounces on the bowl when I feed her this :)
I'll keep feeding this food as long as he keeps going mad for it. It's also reassuring to know it's a food that helps to prevent urinary problems, as we have had issues with that in the past.
Nice and moist, clean and probably good stuff but my cats hate it and wont eat it - all 5 of them.
Our kitten enjoys her breakfast and has learned to ask for it by standing on her back legs and stretching out her paw. She's just so excited to get her breakfast!
We have 2 Burmese, both with chronic pancreatitis, and they can't tolerate normal foods. So our vet recommended Hill's feline i/d wet food and dry food. It is great and very good quality, with real piece of meat. And I'm glad I can buy it at zooplus, as they are way cheaper than the vet!
My cat loves this cat food. He gobbles it up in a hurry.
Jess is 16+ and bored with a lot of prescription diets. He really enjoys the Chicken variety and we mix this with a little of Hills dry K/D food.
Our cat has chronic renal function and recently had a crisis, so we began to try wet food. When he got tired of the first brand we bought K/D from Hill's, and it's his favourite food now. He hasn't got bored of it yet and his condition is improving well. At first he almost didn't want to eat it, but since we've been using these pouches he's been getting his daily amount. Highly recommended!
My cat of 10 years began to have problems with urinary infections and crystals, and he had very dense urine. The vet recommended this Hills C/D dry food combined with the C/D wet food as well. Within 3-4 weeks we no longer had any problems, so it's very effective. And at zooplus it's very well priced!
My cat has unexplained vomiting. Blood results and tests etc didn't tell us anything. This food helped instantly and clearly tastes great to my cat. Compared to his old food (Kattovit Gastro, which was essentially mush), this has lovely pieces of meat in sauce. The pouches are super and I would love it if zooplus also stocked the salmon variety!
My cat would eat this forever! Excellent quality and price
My cat has enjoyed this food since we first got it from the vet.
My cat has had a repeated urinary infections and FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). This food has helped us to avoid FLUTD since it changes the ph of the urine preventing the formation of urinary stones. But it is important to stick to just this food to get the full effects.
My cat Luna has always been very sensitive and picky, and a lot of foods we've tried have caused her a variety of ailments. Vomiting and diarrhoea occurred pretty frequently. A friend of my mother recommended me Hill's, because her male cat has done well on it. It was a good choice, as my Luna is no longer vomiting after meals, and all the other problems have also disappeared. It looks appetizing, and the balance of meat and sauce is just right. The ingredients even smell good to me! But most importantly, Luna likes it :)
After the surgery for kidney stones, my cat would only eat this food, and it worked perfectly. What can I say, Hill's sachets were definitely what we were looking for. Nina (my cat) is crazy about them! I hope this food will never be withdrawn from sale because it heals and also prevents at the same time. One word: perfect!! I would recommend it even for owners of fussy cats (mine is one of them!)
Hill's dietary food was recommended by our vet because of our cat's problems with loose stools. It's difficult to say whether this food regulates the digestive system on its own, because she also had injections and medications from the vet, but she no longer has any problems with loose stools and she happily eats all the food. The only small drawback is the fact that 2 sachets in my carton were leaking when I received them.
This is a delicious, high-quality special diet food. They taste good, and my cat's stomach stays healthy and functioning. It's especially good that these pouches can be ordered at the same time as the food for our ordinary cats from zooplus, so we don't have to make a special trip to the vet.
My cat eats this regularly. The vet recommended it after she'd had an operation for urinary stones, we've combined this with her other food and she hasn't relapsed so far.
My cat loves this food. He was diagnosed with early stages of KD, I bought Hill's as it is the brand he has always been on. No introduction necessary he loves it, wont touch his old food now. Within a couple of days he looks a lot better, is livelier really is back to his old self, it's amazing.
It's just a really good product that helps my cat with her sensitive stomach. She now lives a good and healthy life. It really is a product that delivers what it promises. One minus is the price, it is quite expensive but I have no choice when my cat can only tolerate one product!
So far this wet food for kidney problems has been very much appreciated by my cats! Really love it! Absolutely prefer these pouches rather than the cans from the same line, for some reason my cats don't like the same food from a tin.
Have given before recommended by vet. Also advised they probably won't eat it for the given time as it tastes so revolting, and they were right - although it did work wonders when nothing else has for Uti's as it says. Bought for one cat suffering witth Uti again. Now need to buy more as both cats seem to be in ecstasy when eating it, and just want more. Goodness knows what they've put it in it?? But definitely no problems with taste now!
