Recipe change? Unfortunately, my cat is completely refusing the new batch My Bengal cat suffers from stomach issues and has always loved this Kattovit food. With the older batches (e.g. batch 451173), there were never any problems – she practically devoured it. Sadly, she is totally refusing the current batch 465851: she sniffs the bowl briefly and then walks away. Since our supply of the old batch ran out today, we now unfortunately have to look for an alternative.

I didn’t notice that there was a ‘neu’ label on the can. Basically, Kattovit has changed the ingredients and/or the production process. The food is no longer pink but brown, and the texture isn’t firm anymore, it’s softer and more spongy. What a disappointment. My 7-year-old cat has been vomiting from food her whole life, I don’t know which ones we haven’t tried until we found Kattovit Sensitive Pute – my cat was cured, she ate and digested without any problems. Until now!! With the new formula, my cat is vomiting again!!! Why, Kattovit?!
