Whiskas 1+ Adult Pouches Saver Pack 48 x 85g - cat wet food

Cats won't eat it

Our cats used to love these so much that I bought hundreds of them on offer! And they barely want to eat them now. It's like something changed they just smell it and walk away. They do eat a pouch occasionally mostly beef and salmon but not always.

I ordered two large boxes of the poultry in jelly for Senior cats and two for junior cats. When you open the pouches, the smell is sickening. My cats do turn away and wouldn’t even lick on it. Tried 10 pouches with diff poultry - all the same! Stay away!

Most probably something very important is changed in this food packs. My cats used to love them, now they don’t want to even touch it! I noticed a logo “Neu” on them, which means New, most probably new formula and ingredients. The smell of the food to me also appears totally different. The previous ones where smelling so yummy, the new ones smell disgusting!

Hopeless, I don't recommend it. My two cats usually eat everything with a wild appetite, but here they tried it and then actually walked away from their bowls. One of them even gave the other flavours a go, but gave up too. I had to give it away to someone else.

They don't like them in sauce. I accidentally ordered the ones in sauce instead of in jelly. A lot stays in the pouch, it's hard to serve.

damaged sachet packaging, an unpleasant smell was coming out

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Whiskas food comes in 85g pouches with chunks in gravy. Unfortunately, it's completely unclear what's actually in each variety, as the ingredients list is very vague. There's also added sugar and grains – why? The smell is okay. Taurine is only at the minimum required level. So, I can't recommend it.

The cat doesn’t eat this food anymore. Ever since the new packaging with the cat’s head on it, I’ve thrown away 90 percent of it. They “optimised” the recipe. Probably even more waste and fillers in it now. Whiskas. I never thought much of this low-quality rubbish anyway, but the cat wouldn’t eat anything else no matter what I tried. I’ve tried everything, from Carny to Leonardo, Miamor and so on. No chance. Now she eats Felix.

One of the two tomcats vomits after eating, glad we figured out the cause and don’t have to make pointless trips to the vet. We won’t buy it again.

Our cats used to love eating Whiskas until they changed the packaging and the recipe. Now they won’t touch it anymore and prefer to eat dry food instead…

My two tomcats used to love this food and now suddenly they don’t want it anymore, they won’t even try it. The packaging also looks different—has Whiskas changed the recipe? Is there something in it that’s making the cats feel sick?

I don’t know if Whiskas has introduced some new formula for this food, but compared to the previous ones I bought for my cat, this is just rubbish. It has a weird smell that puts my cat off eating it rather than encouraging him. Money down the drain.

Unfortunately, something has changed in the composition, and my cats won’t touch it anymore. Sadly, I ordered 2 boxes and now I can’t do anything with them.

Even though my cat always happily ate Whiskas from the shop, the ones ordered from zooplus just don’t appeal to him at all. The bowl stays full all day, and in the end I have to throw the food away.
