Mixpaket 1 (Huhn, Seelachs, Lamm, Kaninchen, Wild)
Unfortunately, it's no longer accepted, the change in composition is no longer liked and it stinks
Until last year, my boys really liked the Wild Freedom food and I was happy to buy it. No one here likes the new recipe anymore, not even treats can tempt my boys to eat it. The ingredients have gotten much worse and the food smells awful (especially the pure rabbit and chicken) – like excrement. Unfortunately, I had to throw everything away. And it's too expensive to just throw out.

High Valley - Rind & Huhn
Unfortunately, it's just not the same since the new recipe
Unfortunately, since the recipe change, it's no longer usable. It stinks and the boys won't touch it anymore, not even with treats sprinkled on top. It's only good for the bin now (or maybe the animal shelter or food banks, but I can't say if anyone there will eat it). Sadly, I won't be buying this brand again. It was good until the change.
Two stars for the price and for being grain-free and without other rubbish.

Golden Valley - Kaninchen & Huhn
Unfortunately not what it used to be anymore... gets completely ignored and smells bad
Up until last year, my lads absolutely loved this variety and would gobble it up straight away, but since they changed the recipe (in my opinion, for the worse), they won’t touch it anymore, not even with treats sprinkled on top... and it honestly smells disgusting. I bought it because the price was still decent, but it’s definitely too good to just throw away.

Wide Country – Czysty kurczak
Something has changed
Unfortunately, yesterday it was still eaten with appetite... today the can (pure chicken) from the new order was left untouched and disdainfully "buried" with a paw :(. Then the second one (lamb with chicken), also from the new batch, was left uneaten as well. Such a shame :(

Mixpaket 1 (Huhn, Seelachs, Lamm, Kaninchen, Wild)
No longer eaten
Wild Freedom was one of our cats' favourite brands for years. But since the last order, they only eat it very reluctantly on the first day. The next day, they ignore it or even scratch at it in the bowl, no matter which variety. Really disappointing..

Product deterioration
What's going on? I used to be very loyal to this product, whether Normal or Sterilised, but now I'm disappointed. The smell isn't the same anymore—what used to be really appetising has become much less pleasant. Visually, it now looks like waste processing, which might make sense for our cats if the waste is of good quality. But that's not always the case. I regularly sort through the Chicken, Duck, and Rabbit varieties and find greyish, hard, and sharp waste. I no longer trust it.

Wide Country - Huhn pur
Changed consistency, changed smell – diarrhoea
Our food-sensitive tomcat used to tolerate this food well, one of the few he could eat without problems.
Now I wanted to order this food again and was shocked when I opened the first can.
Back then: rather dry, firm texture. Nice smell, visible pieces of meat.
Now: mushy, grey, uniform slop. Strange smell – our cat gets diarrhoea from it.
Such a pity, Zooplus – the food used to be better.

Don't like it
My cats don't even want to try the food, for whatever reason. It's a shame.

Worse quality
Every now and then I come back to this cat food, hoping that the quality from years/months ago will return... Unfortunately, it hasn't. It's awful, the food smells bad, has big lumps of fat, and my cat refuses to eat it. It used to be fantastic.

Mixed package
Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with every new batch. My Maine Coon cats have been on this WILD FREEDOM food for several years and there were never any problems. They used to eat every flavour with appetite. Now it's a disaster—they don't want to eat it and I have to add pastes to make it tastier. Sometimes they even vomit after eating.
I have to stop buying this food.
The quality has really gone downhill. It's not as aromatic and tasty as it used to be.

lot mixte II (2 x poulet, 2 x saumon, bœuf, canard)
Quality is going down, time to switch shops
I have to point out that the quality of the food has become dreadful since the packaging changed. This is especially true for the High Valley (beef): the texture is awful, greasy, and there’s always a 2 cm thick layer of fat at the bottom of the can. My cat eats it because he’s not fussy, but I really don’t feel like I’m giving him quality food anymore, even though I’d been loyal to the brand for years. The prices, of course, just keep going up.

Poor shipping
Our cats really like the food, but the tins arrived all dented. That's a no-go.

A nightmare
I've been buying this cat food for years, but this time as soon as my cat eats it, he starts vomiting. I don't know what they've done during production.

Uneven batches
You can end up with completely different quality batches of this product. Some of them stink, have unground pieces of SOMETHING, and my two cats would rather go hungry than eat it. Other batches have a smooth consistency and the cats eat it with pleasure. That’s why I don’t stock up too much on this food, because I never know what I’ll get. With my order in mid-May 2026, I got a good quality batch.
