TIAKI Starfish Plastic Drinking Fountain

Very happy with this 3-year-old fountain compared to the previous two models, which were noisy and ended up leaking because of the electric filter, even after replacing it. Here, everything is fine, no breakdowns and the cats love it. I just need to replace the bulb.

At first it seemed like they wouldn’t use it, but after two or three days they started drinking from it. It was easy to set up and is simple to clean. It does make a bit of noise, but nothing that’ll keep you awake. The fact that it’s made of stainless steel makes it much more hygienic than the plastic ones. But it’s important to keep an eye on it and change the filters. Still, it easily lasts two months without changing, just giving it a quick clean whenever you add water. It was a good purchase.

I use it as a bath for my budgies. The pump is efficient and seems durable. However, I do wish the cord was a bit longer.

The trickling water catches the cat’s attention, so they drink from it more often. It’s better for them to drink filtered, fresh water too!

Very easy to put on and take off, a more reasonable price would be great.

It was a Christmas present 2024 for my cats and they love it. I also ordered a spare pump straight away but haven’t needed it yet, and yes, the light doesn’t work anymore, but that’s not really a problem. I’ve got night lights anyway. More expensive fountains aren’t any better, I’ve tried them all.
