It seemed perfect: the right height, the right tilt, and a surface with raised waves to stop food from slipping away when my cat licks it. A great help for my clumsy, flat-faced kitty. But after the first wash in the dishwasher, the ceramic waves came off: thrown away! From the comments, I see it happens even with hand washing, so the quality is terrible, and I don't even want to think that this poor material might be toxic!

Bought two bowls, and after just a few uses the edges broke and the glaze came off. Also, the bowls got mouldy underneath if you leave them standing after washing, since they're hollow and collect moisture! Had to throw both of them away.

Good shape, design suitable for a large cat. Unfortunately, the glaze peeled off the ceramic surface and now it looks chipped. It peeled off quickly, in many places, even though I washed it by hand.
