We bought it for our ragdoll cats to drink water from. The big plus: since it’s raised, they drink more water now. Downside: the legs fold in as soon as the tomcat pushes against it a bit harder. Or when we do. Then I obviously pour the water out. And if water gets into the two openings, it’s hard to get it out again. Still, we’re very happy with it, because before, the cats hardly drank any water at all.

The bowl is really beautiful. We got it for our Gina, who has cerebellar ataxia, and it’s perfect for her because it’s raised, the bowls don’t move, and it’s easy to clean. The price is reasonable. The only issue is that you can’t clean inside the bowl holder—some kibble fell into the openings. It would have been better if both parts were closed off. Let me know if you managed to open it without damaging it. I recommend this product.
