Not suitable for post-surgical recovery. It’s difficult to put on, the fabric is quite thick cotton which makes it less breathable, and the Velcro fastenings are large and stiff. Also, using it means you have to handle the animal a lot, which, in cases of very extensive or invasive surgeries like mine, causes unnecessary discomfort and pain. It doesn’t make it easy to check the wound either, since its fastening system means you have to almost completely remove it to access the affected area.
