It works!

The mouse detection has been in use for 2 months now and works perfectly. It detected ALL prey animals, no matter what. Our cat brings something almost every day, sometimes up to four mice in one night. The battery consumption in the PetSafe flap hasn't noticeably increased either. Only (minor) criticism: the reset button is hard to reach when installed in a PetSafe flap.
