Always use
We always use Catsan for an XXXL litter box and rarely have any problems. Urine gets soaked up and no real smell. Been using it for years and will continue to do so.

Good product best price
I've tried a lot of different litters for my 3 cats and this is the best one, it absorbs the smell very well and it is a great price on here

Love or hate it
There is no smell! Best cat litter I've tried.
If your one is smelling I can only assume you are not cleaning the litter tray often enough and your cat has a bowel problem.

No smell
This has changed my life. There is no smell in my home at all. It lasts longer than the silicate I was using. Just fantastic.

Its great and your cats may prefer it!
I'm a professional cat sitter so deal with hundreds of different cats and their cat litters every year.
I have to say that my two cats (moggies, both male and 8 years old) prefer this as its solid under their feet and doesn't move around, in fact they wont use any other litter.
Yes if multiple cats are using one tray (not recommended) then it will have to be changed often. Maybe twice a week or every other day depending on how many cats and how many trays used.

Cats like it
I prefer clamping litters but the one I liked lost it's quality and after trying many other ones I decided to stick with this one. The cats like it too and it doesn't seem to stuck to their paws.
And in the last pack I opened we found a pack of kitten treats. I wasn't aware of any promotion so not sure if it was intended to be in there but I didn't care. The bag was unopened and still in date and funnily ones of the few treat my fussy kitten does eat.

My Ragdoll cats love it.
Great product! This is the best. Not the cheapest but easy to use and easy to clean. I've five Ragdoll cats and sometimes many kittens but CATSAN does the job well. No bad smell. I scoope twice a day, change litter and clean the whole litter boxes once a week. Easy-peasy!

The best litter out there - no dust & odour free!
I find this has the least dust/ clay & does not stick to my cats paws. It's easy to remove stools daily, then I change the lot after a week. Depends how much your cat wees. The odd grain gets caught in his paws & I find the odd bit around the house but it's impossible not to, I find this happens with every litter I've tried. I have to say I am a bit shocked at the comments by Jolly saying 2x6kg packs last her 1.5 - 2 months!! I can only imagine that's why she has clumping problems!

THE BEST EVER CAT LITTER!
I have 5 indoor cats and have been doing cat rescue and showing for over 30 years so have cleaned A LOT of litter trays in my time! I have tried every brand of cat litter including clumping/ clay/ worlds best/ wood/paper pellets/ budget and top of the line. I always come back to catsan. I've found It's the best for odour management and it HIGHLY absorbent so there is no urine smell at all. I scoop the tray of solids as required and completely empty and disinfect the tray every day, even with one cat if ANY tray was left longer than a couple of days harmful bacteria will build up and be walked around your home or ingested by your cat/s and of course the stale urine will start to smell!! It's best to use less litter in the tray and thoroughly clean the tray more often, than to put a couple of inches in and leave the germs to build up over a few days. It doesn't clump which I prefer so it doesn't stick to the litter tray or scoop instead the urine is absorbed and trapped inside the grains rather than sticking the grains together. It tracks very slightly but I've yet to find a litter that doesn't! Considering I've got 5 indoor cats I have guests coming into the house who comment on the fact that there is absolutely no cat odour at all. It's not the cheapest but it's excellent value for money. I would highly recommend. 😀

Does the job perfectly!
I have always used this cat litter as it is high quality and lasts longer than other cat litter. I like that it is easy to clean up and my cats love it. It is expensive but you are paying for quality and I would rather pay that bit extra for something that does its job effectively.

Tracks quite a bit
This is the first non-clumping product we bought and I have to admit, that was done in error. It is fine for solids but I have to agree with the other poster that it does start to smell of urine a bit after day 5 or 6. We have 2 indoor cats and a bag lasts them a week. Luckily, we have an early warning system as our DSH kitten likes to go for a dump on the floor or in the bath when she is unhappy with the litter/urine ratio - which is great...

No odour at all
The litter box in our bathroom doesn't smell at all, despite it being an open box. We would usually ask visitors if they could detect cat odour, so far so good. After day 5, you can smell a tiny bit of urine so that's when we would change it. Small problem with tracking though, hence the 4 rating.

It's ok
This is an OK non clumping litter. Currently using it at the moment as I have a kitten and clumping litter is not recommended.
It absorbs odors nicely. However, it does track alot.
The small bag is uneconomic and one would need to buy a new bag every couple of weeks.
Overall I will continue using for the time being but as soon as she is old enough I will be changing to a clumping litter

My Devon Rexes LOVE This!
I tried various products including other clay based litters before settling on Catsan. Highly efficient it absorbs urine and there is NO smell. With clean litter for 2 rexes overnight there is never a pool of urine when I clean the tray around 8am next morning, the soiled litter is grey rather than white. Even with 2 rexes and 3 kittens there is no smell, and yes they are 'worth it'!!!

Excellent
I just bought a kitten and I didn't have any experience with cat litter before. So I tried some clumping cat litters and I wasn't really pleased with them. Then I tried the Catsan Hygiene Cat Litter and I can say it's much much better. I can't compare it with any other similar product. I'll definatelly stick to it.

Brilliant!
I have four indoor cats, and wouldn't use any other cat litter. I've been through loads trying to find one that worked for me. I thought I had found it in another litter that Zooplus sells but Catsan Hygiene is much better. It absorbs urine like nothing else - even with four cats it can last three to four days before it starts to discolour and break down. Even then, it doesn't get wet and it never sticks to my cats' paws or tracks through the house. The only time it ends up outside the tray is when my cats jump out and kick a bit out with them. But because the granules are large, they are easy to deal with. Fine, clumping cat litter used to drive me nuts. To make it easier for cleaning, I use tray liners and a puppy pad underneath (my cats are overzealous diggers and always put holes in the liners). The result is that every three to four days, all I need to do is tie up the liner, bag and bin it, wipe the bottom of the tray with some disinfectant and fill back up. Much less hassle than I've ever had before. WELL worth the money.
