The sand is fine, it gets carried out quite a lot, but unfortunately there’s not much you can do about that. It absorbs odours really well. Clumps do form, but I expected them to be firmer—they break apart quite easily and stick to the bottom and sides of the litter box (one stainless steel, one plastic). When they break up, the sand is full of smaller clumps that are almost impossible to remove. For the price, I expected something better. I’ll keep looking and trying other options.

The litter is very good but the bags too often arrive with holes in them.

Overall very good, it binds odours well and also clumps nicely. The main drawback for me was that it's too fine. With a long-haired cat, the fine grains ended up scattered everywhere.

The filling often doesn’t clump – it depends on how the cat sits in the litter box – and there’s a kind of mush at the bottom that you can’t get loose with a regular litter scoop; you can actually see the scoop bending. A metal garden trowel does solve this problem though. Odours are pretty much non-existent and the litter hardly creates any dust, which is ideal for my cat with chronic sneezing. I have a slightly larger litter box – actually two – and one bag lasts me about two months.
