Tigerino Premium Cat Litter - Babypowder Scented

With 8 cats I'm always trying to find the right litter to suit all. Well I have found it. This is a fantastic litter & clumps well. I use the unscented one & it really lasts. I would recommend using a hooded tray as the cats can kick it out of the tray (but they do this with most litters)

This is one of the few fine clumping cat litters one can find that are unscented and are reasonably priced. Previously my favourite was Biokats unscented, but it has been withdrawn so I tried this. It is a great litter, it clumps very well, there is some dust but I can handle it, and there is no odour. However, I have a particular problem with my cat's habit to pee on the walls of the litter tray. This means that good clumping ability = clumps glued on the tray walls. Cleaning the tray and the scoop is much more difficult than it was with Biokats (whose clumps tend to break more easily). This is not a problem with the litter, but for practical reasons I will now try the scented Biokats micro. I hope the smell won't be unbearable as I don't like perfumes.

I've tried non-clumping, 'non-clumping' which actually clumps, clumping which turns into sludge and now I've finally found something that is just right. My cat likes to dig right to the bottom to pee, meaning that it just goes right on the tray. I've had this litter a few days now and he's only dug to the bottom once, which did make the litter stick to the tray a litter but nowhere near as bad as any other litter. Otherwise, pee forms into really tight clumps that don't break and odour is masked really well. I read somewhere that if your cat likes to use one particular part of the tray to pee, bank the litter up in that area so that they don't dig to the bottom. My cat likes to go either at the front or the back, so I spread the litter in a way that means there is a slight valley in the middle. This does the trick and stops the pee getting to the bottom. My 15kg bag arrived two days ago and yesterday I ordered 2 more at the better price. I can't see myself getting through the one bag any time soon so now I'm set for a good while. I also bought a Litter Champ as I can now see it is viable to dump the pee clumps straight into the bin. Previously I had been scraping sodden litter into a dog poo bag and putting in a bin outside. I should also say that whilst this litter does track a little (I have a DLH), it is nowhere near as bad as the previous litter and as it is a fine, almost sandy consistency, it's not so noticeable/painful to step on. My cat always pees a bit on his fur too and a previous fine grade litter stuck to those bits - they looked like crusty pee dreadlocks. So disgusting. Tigerino doesn't do this at all. Dust is minimal. All round great product that I will buy again and again.

I got this on my last purchase of cat litter, instead of Classy Cat. It works out a little cheaper, but it really is the same litter. It clumps really well and the cats love it. My only complaint is that the baby powder smell is not as strong as Classy Cat, so it doesn't do as good a job at masking the odour. I would buy this again if I had to save a few euros, but I still think Classy Cat is better.

... from the description. Clumps are falling apart when I try to scope them up. The cats doesn't like this sand, because the grains are sharp and bigger than they like it. I will not buy this again.

I think its a very good litter,I love the smell of the baby powder too !! Clumps well when wet,Cat happy !! So owner is very happy too !!

Tried many brands of Kitty litter and this one is as good and cheaper! Clumps well and easy to clean. Good for me!

I always used to love buying this product, but now it's unrecognisable—there's no baby powder scent anymore, the litter is so coarse, it clumps really badly and is dusty, so it's an absolute downgrade of the product, but the price hasn't gone down—really bad from Zooplus!!!! 😡😡 On top of that, my cats are now having serious problems with their bowel movements because of it! Thanks a lot, Zooplus, you really messed this up 👎😡

We've been ordering this litter every month for at least a year now, and after 6 years (!!) of desperate searching, I can finally say: we are MORE than satisfied! The litter clumps extremely well and doesn't create too much dust. My two indoor cats love the baby powder scent! The litter doesn't smell at all, and with the aluminium litter box, we have absolutely no more problems with odours. My highest recommendation!

The formula of the litter has changed compared to what I was used to. It doesn’t absorb odours as well, so you really need to clean the toilet ideally three times a day if you don’t want to smell anything. I’m disappointed, I’ve been buying this brand for five years and it was always top notch, but now it’s just not the same.

I'm not the only one who thinks this is an above-average product. It doesn't stick to their paws or the fur on their pads. It covers up smells perfectly. I've tried cheaper products a few times, but they turned out to be a waste of money. This litter is really great... It's not cheap, that's true, but it's worth the price. I can recommend it to everyone.

Perfect, we've tried a lot of litters but this one is amazing. It smells nice, forms lovely clumps, and lasts a long time. No more experimenting, we're sticking with this product.

I've been buying this litter for many years to mix it with other litter so everything smells fresher. But for the past few months, this litter doesn't smell at all anymore—it's completely odourless. I already complained about it to zooplus and they handled it well. A few months later I ordered it again, and the same thing happened all over again. Apparently, the manufacturer has now stopped adding any scent at all. It's like ordering chocolate ice cream and getting a water ice instead... 👎🏻

I think I’ve already reviewed it in the past and I still believe it’s much dustier than claimed. In fact, I only handle it while wearing a mask and I have to shower and change clothes every time I sift or refresh it. But I have to admit that people who come to my house say they don’t notice any litter smell. Even the vet complimented me, and the second time she came, accompanied by her partner, they both complimented me again.

Very high-quality sand, with little or almost no dust.

The quality has dropped significantly. After using it for about 5 years, I find myself having to look for another product.

Very good product. Nice fine grains. The urine clumps together well. Pleasant smell. Our Maine Coon is very happy. When his little friend comes over to play, the friend always goes to the litter box to do his business.

When it comes to cleaning the litter box, it's not bad. But before, it used to release very little dust, and now it gives off so much dust that, besides being annoying, it's not good for the cats. It's a shame because it's gotten worse.

This is a litter I've been using for a long time, and I find it perfect.

... we've been using this cat litter in several litter boxes for years. After the last order and refilling the boxes, the cats are avoiding them and prefer to pee elsewhere... in front of the litter box, in the bathtub... Something about it seems to bother the cats. I haven't figured out what yet. We'll have to try a different litter.

Tigerino is a mediocre clumping cat litter, you can smell the cat urine right away, it doesn't absorb, I don't like it at all.

My old cat loves this highly absorbent litter and turns his nose up at other brands. And I appreciate the size of the bag (not too heavy).

I used this cat litter for over 3 years, but lately they've changed the formula and the litter is terrible! The clumps break apart as soon as you dig into the litter, and by the time they reach the scoop, they've already turned back into wet sand... and the smell is awful. I gave it more chances, three times, until even our cats took a stand and protested by doing their business in places other than the litter box. I've never seen such a downgrade in a product... terrible.
