Doesn't spread but smells bad after a while
I was looking for an alternative to Cats Best Smart Pellet, which now costs a fortune. Unfortunately, it doesn’t hold up in comparison: the pellet format is handy because the cats don’t drag bits everywhere, but apart from the fact that it doesn’t smell like wood, the pieces are crushed and after just a few days you can already notice the smell of urine, especially if the cats use the same litter one after the other.

Enthusiasm faded
I really like it. It doesn’t create dust, it smells nice, and you can get used to the loud scratching. It also clumps well, BUT scooping it out is tricky because, although the clumps “clump well”, they don’t really hold together. Little bits always break off, which are hard to scoop up and even harder to see.
After my cats were initially enthusiastic, none of them have used it for the past two weeks. They clearly prefer other litter.

Not satisfied
The product is good because it doesn’t leave an unpleasant smell even after 10 days, but on the downside, there’s more litter scattered around than usual and it’s not clumping. Or rather, it does clump, but as soon as you scoop it up, it falls apart, which makes daily cleaning of the urine quite difficult.

"Clump" litter
I really can’t understand the good reviews at all. It doesn’t clump well, even if you wait for it to get “firmer” before scooping it out. Everything just falls apart into little pieces that you then have to fish out as well. The only things I can agree with are that the litter itself is odourless, and if you clean it regularly, it doesn’t smell. It’s also low in dust. But the clumping just isn’t what it’s supposed to be. Plus, it’s really noisy when the cat digs in it.
