Trixie stainless steel scatter shovel

Handle broke off after about a week. The weld holding the scoop on is very weak.

The handle broke off the scoop immediately. A single spot weld is not strong enough

After just 3 weeks, the shovel broke at the connection to the shaft. I'm ordering a new one, hoping it was just a one-off defect.

We bought the shovel hoping it would be extra sturdy because of the material – for those really stubborn clumps of litter. But the shovel broke completely apart on the very first use, just on a normal little clump. The handle is attached to the shovel so poorly... The two tiny weld spots connecting the shovel and the handle are honestly more of a bad joke than any sign of stability.

I was honestly really happy to have found a shovel that seemed sturdy, and the metal makes it super easy to clean. No digging in like with the plastic shovels. Unfortunately, it only lasted two weeks. The joint between the handle and the shovel is just welded with a small plate, which bends easily and eventually just broke off. So the shovel and €9 went straight in the bin, because there’s no way to fix it. Definitely never again.

The third scoop broke apart at the welds on the second day. Unfortunately, I have no way to drill holes in the scoop, otherwise I would have riveted it and it would have been great – then it would be a fantastic scoop. As it is, though, it's just overpriced rubbish from Trixie.

The welding at the top of the shovel is poorly done; it broke after just a few times of using it.

Unfortunately, the spatula is very large, it doesn't fit in any holder and it came with lots of rust marks.

It's way too sharp around the edges and scrapes the inside of the toilet, but it doesn't scrape well because it gets stuck at the bottom. It's also way too big, which makes it hard to empty a toilet that has a lid.

The first spatula lasted over a year – the next ones only a few weeks – not worth buying.
