Wish I had bought this toilet ages ago. 6kg 8 month old maine coon lots of space use together with the clumping litter took a full bag but scoop out mess twice a day and change monthly. Very easy to keep clean well worth the money
I bought two of these, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. No complaints about the quality. The clips are stron and sturdy yet easy to undo. Better than the sliding clips on other models. The door is my big complaint. Weird design. It hangs slightly inwards of the door frame so there is always a big gap and smells escape easily. Not much point in the carbon filter. I like the size and quality, but am now looking for an equivalent with a normal door design.
Very happy with my purchase. Our two boys started using it straight away. It is rather large and slightly bulky, but looks really good and easy to clean. Due to the corner shape it gives our boys tons of space to maneuver inside the litter box, which is a huge plus point. Please keep in mind that it requires quite some litter to fill it, but it is absolutely worth it.
This really is an XXL box! A bit too large for my young ragdoll but will be fine once grown.
The amount of cat litter required to adequately fill the tray is something I hadn't considered. A 6 litre bag of crystal litter is not deep enough, will need another bag so is exspensive.
Main issue is that it seems not very robust. The clips on the side will need frequent use to remove lid for litter change, seem quite flimsy.
Also the front flap was broken on delivery (one of the pegs was snapped).
This has just arrived, it remains to be seen if our 3 kitties will use it - the door is a very poor fit and when I 1st put it together it didn't look right hanging inside and not 'closing' at all with a huge gap- looked on here and see I'd put it in the wrong way - now corrected but it looks so odd. The clips seem flimsy and with the bags I don't think this will last long! this is the 3rd covered litter box we have and it is certainly not the best - but then I guess we get what we pay for.
As one review has already stated the flap door is ill-fitting which ever way you place it! It's a shame because the actual tray and cover is excellent value. Because of the ill-fitting door my cat got stuck on the very first attempt to enter and was frantic; thus broke one of the little plastic peg on one side so that was the end of the flap. However, ZOOPLUS was most understanding and is replacing it for me and I am most grateful as I think Zooplus generally is excellent!!
Sadly the back of my litter tray where the clip goes split the second time I removed the clip to empty the tray, its a wee bit flimsy, Otherwise the corner tray is a really good size, nice and easy to assemble and clean
just gutted mine broke
I have a kitten who is growing by the second and needed something bigger and covered. He doesn't like the flap so that is easily resolved. It is big and of a sturdy design. Yes, the filter isn't the easiest of things to get in but personally I think that this is good value for money. I am also impressed with the the service of Zooplus. Quick dispatch and delivery, and purchased quite a few items. All are reasonably priced and of decent quality.
I am ordering a second one for my 2 elderly cats who seldom go outside now. The original is 3 years old.
I am sure people are putting the door on the wrong way round if it does not fit. I did first time!
The side clips are fine as long as you align them on the base correctly. They are bound to break if you force them.
Oh my god i have rescue cats and always rescue and 1 of mine is a big girl and wow there is enough room for pudding and boo 2 both be in there and dig for australia.. 1st ever xxl litter box that lives up to its name .. this is the 1st box all of pudding can get in .. shes 1 happy cat ...usually she puts her back end in and hangs rest out .. many trays and boxes later she thinks her xmas and birthday has all come at once ..ZOOPLUS 😍😍😍👍👍😻😻😻FROM PUDDING N BOO XX
got that with our first cat Ragdoll Boy (weights 5kg now) a year ago who enjoys using it, doesnt like the doors so we do not use them, good size for big cats but would get bigger size for Ragdolls as more space to turn around inside, we got second of those for our Rgdoll girl as she wont be that big as her brother so plenty of space for her. he constatntly jumops on top of it and not damage yet, it is a bit scratched inside but thats normal. would recommend
Some bad reviews on here but both kitties have taken to this no problem once they'd learnt what a cat flap is! Usually enjoy tormenting each other by trapping each other in it too!
Yes clips are a bit flimsy but should last as long as you're a bit more gentle with them. Cats obviously still managing to get litter everywhere but that's because that's their specialised skill.
This litter tray is amazing and just what I needed for my elderly cat! She has recently had to have a back leg amputated so was struggling to use a normal rectangular open tray and was making a mess outside of the tray. I needed an enclosed one with a side opening wide door which would be easier for her to get in and out of. The design allows her easy access and to turn around easily to get back out. She is frail and 19 years old thank you for manufacturing a product which makes her life easier!
This is a great product. And, Zooplus, thank you for your great customer service! My original one was faulty and they re-shipped me a new one pronto and it works exactly how I want it to. Thanks again!
