Got this for my Bengal male. Looks really odd when you take it out but within ten minuets my cat was exhausted. He loved it!! Very little work on my part but loads of exercise for my cat. Best buy!!!

This toy is great fun - my cats play with dangler more than any other toy. As they are mainly indoor cats - this toy gives them plenty of exercise and it is great fun watching them leap in the air for it. My only concern is safety - please do not leave your cats alone with this toy as it is made from wire with cardboard sticks at base, which they love to chew on and it could easily get trapped between teeth.

Found this amazing toy while living in the US and am so happy to see it here. My Siamese and Tonkinese cats love it more than any of their other (more expensive) toys, and my husband is under strict instructions to bring three or four back with him whenever he goes back to the States. Thanks to Zooplus, he'll no longer be having to make that regular trip to PetSmart!

My 10-year old tabby loves this - she almost literally dances! As an indoor cat, it's important she gets lots of stimulation and exercise and this toy does the trick, she never tires of it. There is something about the way it moves - it's different to "dangling" string toys and this seems to be what keeps her interested.

This has been my cats favourite toy for about 2 years until we got the feather dangle pole toy. The cat dancer wins for me as it has lasted and gone on for a good year (we have bought 2 so far). Anything that has a string or elastic cord just gets bitten through straight away, with the cat dancer being thick wire we don't have this problem . This gets my cat back flipping and hunting all over the flat. Simple but brilliant for any energetic cat that loves to stalk and back flip.

I bought this for my little Siamese kitten.She loves it, the only problem is that she will never let the game end. She could go on playing with it for ever.

Sometimes you can end up spending a lot of money on toys for your cat, and you get them home, they take one look at them and walk off. My 4 month old Maine Coon has gone nuts for this simple toy, and she has been very hard to please. The concept is simple, the price tag is excellent, the effort from owner is minimal, and most importantly the cats enjoyment is huge. Even my 15 year old moggy has been leaping after it!!!!

This toy is BRILLIANT! Definitely my kittens favorite. She can't resist it and plays with it at least one hour every day! Great thinking in toy development for cats as it moves in unforeseen patterns which makes it very interesting for the cat to chase down.

One of my cats turns her nose up at this dancer, guess as it's not got feathers or furry bits. But the other cat ... well he goes mad for it and can never get enough. It's very simple and easy to use and tires the cat out before you get tired. Suitable for owners with joint pain I think as very little effort is needed in making the toy dance.

My parents got one of these cat dancers years and years ago, it was so so simple, but it was by far the favourite toy of all 7 of their cats! They still have the same one now (about 10years later) its still in really good condition, especially considering all the rough play its recieved from their 2 new male kittens! I have been looking for this product everywhere for years, so am thrilled to have finally found it! THANK YOU!!!

My cat absolutely loves this toy, more than anything else i've tried him with. He's fascinated by the cardboard pieces and never gets tired of it. Big thumbs up!!

I bought this toy recently for my 1 year old Ragdoll who is very picky about what he will and wont play with. As soon as I unravelled this wire toy his little face lit up and it's now become his favourite toy. He loves to jump around after it and try to 'catch' it so that he can take it away in his mouth, which then confuses him because he cant understand why the other end follows along behind him, its very funny and cute to watch! This really is an excellent product!

After reading so many positive reviews for this toy, I had to get one. And my foster kitten went crazy for it! The Cat Dancer is a wire with a few twists of paper on the end. Such a simple concept, but it works so well. Because it's made with wire, it's springy, so the movement is very natural and attractive. The springiness also means that when your cat grabs or bats at the paper twists, there's some resistance. So much more challenging than a ribbon. My foster kitten is never bored with the Cat Dancer. Along with a little mouse that she loves to carry around, this is her favourite toy. Very highly recommended.

I was disappointed when I first seen this toy when it arrived! It did not look much but when I introduced it to my 2 year old cat, she went crazy for it!! A great buy! I too, have to hide it from my cat and only bring it out when its 'playtime'-she loves it!

I could not believe how much my cats loved this toy. They just go crazy for it. It's so good for lazy owners too: it doesn't require much arm movement. My cats could play with this endlessly and they have been hard to please in the past when it comes to toys. The developers of this toy really know what cats love. Buy it now, it's a great gift for cats and you won't regret it! Great price tag too.

One cat plays/loves it so much the other doesn't get a chance to play. I have to hide the toy when finished as the first one got dragged off and chewed to death! Currently on my 3rd one of this toy. It's also good for those human controllers with joint/mobility problems as not too much waving around is needed.

My bengal adolescent is a crazy energetic young thing and has systematically managed to destroy every toy I've bought him - and I've bought them all. His favourites are long feather dangleys and most of all this wonderful gadget. He can easily play with it by himself (excellent when I'm not available) as whenever he grabs one end of the wire, the other one starts giggling about and he has made it his sole purpose in life to try to catch both ends in his mouth. It has lasted 4 months and the cardboard twists have only just worn away now after him playing with it every day. I have seen it in other places for 99p which is an absolute bargain!

This simple toy, made of a long piece of metal wire and little cardboard twisters at both ends, is a real success with every cat. It can be fixed on a door to encourage independent play (which can go on for hours!) or easily taken off to play with your cat yorself. Get prepared for some serious high jumping! The price found on zooplus is also WAY cheaper than my local pet shops.

My 2 Tonkinese cats adore this toy. It has stood the test of time (for them anyway!) and despite much mauling has only just started to come apart! I highly recommend this.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I just have to. Basically, it's the simplest toy ever – a piece of wire and a few rolled-up bits of stiff paper. Anyone even a little bit handy could make the same thing at home, and the materials are worth maybe five crowns. Whether you go the DIY route or buy it, I absolutely have to recommend it. My spoiled tomcat, who has pretty much every toy under the sun and usually couldn't care less about any of them, is absolutely thrilled with this one.

I've bought this product a couple of times over the years, and the metal wire itself has definitely gone down in quality—it almost looks rusty and seems to be made of black metal now. When you use it, it moves slowly and strangely, whereas before it was much livelier and bounced around more. The product is made in America, so it's no surprise that the quality has dropped.
