This is a great idea for an interactive, but lower effort (for the cat-parent) toy, but unfortunately the casting/throwing out part of the construction doesn’t really work. The line gets immediately tangled and doesn’t reel back in very well. The reeling-in function is also a bit loud and kind of scared my more cautious cat.
