Needs improvement
Considering that for the same price you can buy simpler but sturdier scratching posts.
Positive: the cats climb on it, scratch their claws, and use it as a bed. It's sturdy enough to hold even two cats at the same time.
Negative: the scratching posts inside the structure can't be replaced, and just one fight is enough to destroy everything, so you end up having to throw it away.

doesn't last long
Recommended by a consultant, this cat bed-staircase with compressed cardboard made my cat really happy. But only for a week. Because, as far as I can tell, there are no replacement scratching boards: once the cardboard is shredded by her claws, the whole thing has to be thrown away. Always ask about the implications and downsides of what they're pushing you to buy.

Impossible to assemble
I've put together regular XXL scratching posts in under 30 minutes, but I've been at this one for a week and there's just no way.
You can't find a video showing how to assemble it like you can with other products.
I'm so frustrated that if I don't manage to do it today, it's going straight in the bin 😡😡

Doesn’t last
We have to put it back together every day… For €24, it’s expensive for cardboard.

Not suitable for cats that chew cardboard
One of my cats loves chewing on cardboard and tearing off little pieces. With this staircase, he broke part of the brackets, so now it's almost unusable.

Doesn’t fit larger cats
Unfortunately, it broke after just one day, the plate in step 2 snapped.
But it’s probably better suited for smaller cats ☺️

Disappointment
My cat, who weighs under 4kg, loves it and lies on it regularly, but it keeps falling apart and all the "puzzle pieces" bend, fold and stick out, making it harder to put together again. It should last longer than 4 months. I got it as a Christmas present and the first time it fell apart, she’d had it for about a month. All the scratching pieces look almost untouched; it’s just the parts that hold the sections together in a staircase shape that are the problem. It would have been good if it included double-sided tape or something similar to keep it together.
