The tin is 30% bigger, same amount inside as before but still full – how does that work? My cat, who used to go crazy for it, spits it out now. It was always great before, but sadly not this time. I’ll probably have to throw it away. Such a shame, especially since it wasn’t exactly cheap.

We used to buy these all the time, but our last order was disappointing. Looks like there was a mistake with the packaging. The smell was rotten and mouldy, as if they were damp and had gone bad in the jar.

Unfortunately, the current delivery has a short best-before date of 11/2026, unlike the previous deliveries which had a best-before date of, for example, 07/01/2028. Normally, the principle of "first in, first out" applies, but unfortunately that wasn’t followed here.

The top favourite in recent years is now only eaten reluctantly by my two cats. The recipe or manufacturing process was recently changed, so the treats are now noticeably harder and at the same time have almost no smell. I suspect the treats are now dried for longer, as they used to be quite "brittle" and a lot of crumbled treats would collect at the bottom of the tin. We wish we could have the old Cosma XXL Chicken back.
