Disgusted, my cat used to love the kibble with rice, but now with the new recipe containing maize, he won’t eat it anymore. At the same time, I don’t want maize in my cats’ food either, so I’m leaving this brand—disappointed.

Previously, my cat had loose stools. That stopped with this brand. Until now, since the formula has changed. It's truly awful. It was a huge struggle to find food that didn't cause diarrhoea. We were so happy. Now, unfortunately, the trouble is back again.

Don't buy this as an alternative. Since switching to this other bag, they've had diarrhoea. Other causes have been ruled out.

I agree with recent reviews from other countries. They've changed the formula for the worse, in a kibble that used to be much better than other high-end veterinary brands. My cat had been eating it for years for IBD and it worked perfectly. The kibble looks similar. Less rice, which is good, but now it has corn. It causes diarrhoea, even though we switched over gradually from the previous bag as usually recommended. The taste is worse, she doesn't like it as much. They couldn't even bother to put a resealable closure on the bag. I wouldn't even donate it, it makes sensitive cats sick. Straight to the bin.

The old formula was perfect. I was able to keep 3 problems under control with it: diarrhoea, vomiting, and even urinary issues (stress-related urination). I don’t understand why such a drastic change was necessary. But it’s caused more harm than before. Now there’s diarrhoea and vomiting several times a day, and in large amounts. I gave this new packaging a chance twice, with my most recent order. I’m angry because the quality has dropped terribly. 10 kg of this will have to go in the bin. Plus, my cats’ health is suffering too...

We got on well with this food for years and were happy to have finally found something that worked for us. Since the new product design, not only is the packaging worse, but even worse: the food is no longer tolerated. Now we're back to dealing with constant diarrhoea like before. Really annoying! We'd rather pay more than accept poorer quality for the same price! And on top of that, two bags straight in the bin. Well done.

The amount of rice has drastically decreased (by 73%) and it’s been replaced with corn, plus the proportion of plant proteins (corn gluten) has increased, while hydrolysed animal proteins have gone down. Several important ingredients have been removed (inulin, algae/DHA, lutein, egg), and the vitamin and mineral content has dropped significantly (iron, zinc, copper, selenium, taurine). There is MOS and FOS, but at a very low level (0.1%), so they only play a supplementary role and don’t make up for the reduction in rice. I’ve switched to something else, the drop in quality is just too big.
