After years of this food being our two boys' favourite, I can no longer recommend it. One of them now only eats it reluctantly, and the other vomits it up undigested. Gotten worse
After feeding this for 10 years with satisfaction, I can no longer recommend it this year. The pellets have become noticeably smaller and about a third of it is just powder now.... Both cats are vomiting more often and frequently have bloating. We even ordered a second batch, hoping it was just a 'bad' production run, but it seems to be permanently poor quality now. Really unfortunate.

The quality is beyond any rating. After the recipe change, this is no longer healthy but actually harmful food for cats. Diarrhoea or soft, mushy stools—normal bowel movements are impossible. On top of that, my cat started losing fur in clumps. They should have kept the quality and just raised the price—there isn’t a normal cat owner who wouldn’t pay any price as long as their pet is healthy. Once again, greed has backfired.

My cats are vomiting
Unfortunately, these kibbles are snubbed and vomited up. I mix them with Royal Canin for sterilised cats, because otherwise they just won’t go down at all: two of my three girls have been vomiting for two months now. Even mixed, they’re still being brought back up... but I want to finish the bag, so I’m only putting in 10% Purizon to 90% Royal Canin. It’s a shame. I’ll go back to the Single Meat range—no more Purizon Grain Free for me, ever again.

Food after the change – my cat eats less willingly, has smelly, loose, bloody stools
My cat has been eating only this food for over 10 years (apart from wet food), but since the formula changed, she’s less keen on it and, worse still, for the past few days she’s had looser stools with mucus tinged with blood. I haven’t changed anything else in her diet recently, and after reading other reviews I’m sure this food is to blame, specifically this batch, because I opened a new pack a few days ago. New recipe – Only fit for the bin now.
Well, what can I say? All the recent customer reviews on various online platforms have already mentioned it: With the new formula, Purizon has completely ruined what used to be a top product and lost a large part of its customers because of it. Constant vomiting
My cats usually tolerate this brand well, but with this chicken/fish grain-free product, my girls have just been vomiting...
