Fussy Exigent
My cats used to eat the old version of Exigent with pleasure. They don't want to eat this new formula at all. Why did they have to change something that had been tried and tested for years?

I do not recommend
The new formula is bad, my cats were used to the original Exigent for years, now they have absolutely no interest in it. Why change something that was good?

Dissatisfied
After the change, the cats hardly want to eat it anymore. Such a shame, as they've been eating this for over 9 years. Now I have to look for something they both actually like.

Poor substitute for the Savoie exigent
Apparently, the taste is completely different from Savour Exigent. My cat leaves these kibbles untouched. So now I have to look for an alternative.

Worse than the original Aroma Exigent
My super picky cat who only wants to eat Aroma Exigent won't have anything to do with this new Fussy version at all.
I just don't get why they discontinued the old one.

Royal Canin Fussy Exigent
I always used to buy Savour Exigent, my cats liked it the most. They stay well away from this food. Money wasted. I should have bought Josera instead.

Terrible change
It was a bad decision by the brand to replace the 'Aroma' and 'Savour' cat food, which my cats loved, with this one that they barely eat...

Total refusal by the cats to eat a product with combined flavours and aromas
Bring back the Royal Canin Fussy Exigent product!!
The cats are running off after mice under the neighbours’ barns!!!
IT’S NOT NORMAL FOR THE MANUFACTURER TO CHANGE A PRODUCT THAT’S BEEN BOUGHT FOR YEARS JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A NEW MARKETING IDEA!
Do your tests, but not at the expense of our nerves and our cats’!

Bad decision
For 2 years, my cats would only eat the Savour Exigent dry food—they wouldn’t touch anything else. I don’t understand why they had to take away such a popular product from cats that are already picky eaters. One bowl of dry food for two cats used to last almost two weeks, but now they barely eat this new formula. We’re really disappointed... thank you 💔

Fussy and demanding
And my two Persians won’t touch it. The moggy won’t go near it either.
Yes, they’re fussy about aroma, yes, they’re picky, but they just won’t eat this, even if there’s nothing else.
Of course, that’s just my personal opinion.

Cat sick / diarrhoea
Dear Zooplus,
My review was deleted after it was negative. I’ve called several times. I don’t appreciate this. Honesty is the best policy.
Because of the switch to this food, we had to take our tomcat to the vet. He got sick, had diarrhoea and didn’t want to eat anymore.

Attention! Changed Exigent formula
To my surprise, this is not the same Exigent food I used to buy. I didn’t even notice that the name changed from Savour to Fussy. Same packaging, same cat on the bag, same colours, but a completely different food. My picky cat won’t even sniff it.
I guess I’ll have to give away 10kg of food to stray cats, because what else can I do with it?

Not like Aroma Exigent
Unfortunately, it's not the same as Royal CANIN Aroma Exigent and my cat won't eat it now that the other one has been discontinued.
