My Persians love this kibble. They even seem to prefer it to the RC wet food for Persians. They all have beautiful fur and clear eyes whether this can be put down to the food I can't say with certainty but I don't want to change their diet because they also eat with gusto and the last thing I want is for my cats to become picky.
As long as we bought the small 2kg packages, there was no problem. The cat liked the taste and ate it happily, but after buying a 12 kg bag, there were health problems for both our cats. They used to like the kibble, but the younger cat had long-lasting diarrhea and the older boy ended up on a drip at the veterinary clinic. We were advised not to give this food any longer.
So not for us. Our cats started scratching almost immediately so we ended up at the vet. Not only did we not save on a 12 kg package, but we had to pay the doctor. But it must be said that we already had this food in a smaller package and never had any problems, but it was bought elsewhere.
My Persians and Exotics love this food. Really keeps the hairballs down and doesn’t cause stinky poos like other dry foods can. I have an exotic with a very small mouth and she doesn’t struggle with this food at all.
My cats choose this food over wet food!
We have had a number of Persian cats - spoilt rotten, of course (all but one were from Rescue centres; the exception was re-homed to us). The one food can rely on them all to eat is this one.
Yep it's expensive but my Persians and my rescue moggies LOVE it. Never goes to waste either.
Best prices I've seen are from zooplus and their prompt delivery and packing is superb. Thank you zooplus 5*****
Both my persian boys go absolutely crazy for these biscuits, there isn't one biscuit left on their tray at the end of the day. Great for fur balls, considering how fluffy and how often they groom themselves they never cough up hairballs. Would absolutely recommend.
All other brands of cat food make my Persian Have a upset stomach, I’ve been using royal canin for years and my cat loves it and never has an upset tummy anymore.
Great product at a great price! I buy the 'Sensible' version as my cat has sensitive digestive system and other types of food give him diarrhoea! No issues with Sensible and he absolutely loves it! Been eating it for 2-3 years now and hasn't got bored yet! :) :) :)
We have been using this cat food in our cattery for 18yrs+. It is the most popular and least 'problem causing' cat food we have ever used as our 'main' cat food in the cattery. Most our clients now feed it their cats.
My 5 birman cats love this food. I’ve been feeding it to them for a couple of years. The change in recipe hasn’t affected them and they are still in tip top condition. They hardly ever have a fur ball & their coats look amazing.
i have 3 cats now and they all love this. I was introduced to it from the last cat I rescued from a sanctuary. She feeds all the cats on Royal Canin Sensible.
They absolutely adore these biscuits. They are happy, I am happy, so all is good.
Would certainly recommend buying a small bag for your cat/s for them to sample. I bet you wont look back!!!
My cat of 13 years adores these biscuits and they keep his fur in tip top condition. Doesn't suffer from furrballs at all and has beautiful shiny eyes. My boy is a stunning Persian and I'd recommend these to anyone
My cats suffer from digestive problems so all 3 are on this now even though none are Persians as it was recommended. They never have diareaha any more & there number 2s barely smell now. Love it.
I have ten cats. All various ages and size mainly rescue. This food lasts them approx 4-5weeks and I free feed and the bowls are always topped up. The ingredients keep them fuller for longer. It may seem to cost more than lesser brands but your actually saving as they don't feel the need to eat constantly. Their coats are now so shiny and soft, breath smells better, solid poops and all in all they are happy and healthy.
