Beware! Causes nutritional deficiency

I'd give it 1 star if not for the fact that it's the only food that our IBD cat tolerates! However, it's given both cats horribly dry skin and one of them has whisker breakages and brittle nails now as well. I am deeply disappointed by the nutritional content of this food, especially given that it's falsely marketed as a "complete" food. I'd have been more forgiving if it was only my IBD cat that faced absorption issues but it's totally unacceptable to me. Plus, the cost continues to rise!!

Great for IBD

Miki had a problem with vomiting daily. He has been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This has stopped his vomiting completely. He prefers to to the Sterilized Royal Canin that my other cats eat. It smells a bit like Maggi & Miki is attracted to it.

Cleared my cat’s dermatitis(resulting from allergie)

My vet suggested this food for my 1year old male cat, after his biopsy results returned and we discovered he had dermatitis, most probably from something he is allergic to.The first thing I did was switch to this food reccomended by the vet and after 2 months he was almost fully cleared up.He is healthy, full of energy and has a fantastic coat of fur, very soft and shinny.

GI Issues

My Maine coon cat was prescribed this food by our vet as she has severe GI problems, chronic diarrhoea , IBD. This food worked a magic for her. She is doing much better and has regular and proper bowel movements now. It is expensive but was worth it. Smells strange but all my fussy cats liked it.

really helped!

My rescue cat lost almost all her fur through overgrooming due to a meat allergy so my vet suggested this and it really helped. Within 3 months she was a totally different cat, much calmer and with fur slowly growing back. I do have to mix it with a teaspoon of tuna, but she eats every bit and loves it!

Great food for very allergic cats

My cat has a severe allergy condition, feeding her with Royal Canin Anallergenic stopped the steroids injections to control allergies.

My cat does not like it.

I do not know what is wrong with that food. The smell is different. He does not like it. I will buy him sensitivity again.

Really nice feed

Our two ragdoll cats ate Royal Canin's dental care kibble for years, but because our tomcat started having a sensitive stomach, he couldn't tolerate anything except these kibbles. It did take some getting used to for them. The female cat protested at first, but in the end it worked out. The tomcat ate too quickly because the anallergenic kibbles are like confetti compared to what he used to eat, which he really had to chew before swallowing. But we solved that by using anti-gulp bowls.

Dog size

They're huge. This damn obsession with making cat food as if they're tigers. Apart from that, there aren't any alternatives: it's either Royal or Farmina, but Farmina only has fish (of course).

Miracle cure

Incredible! Since we started trying these kibbles, our cat—who used to suffer from chronic vomiting and severe diarrhoea, sometimes even with blood due to food allergies—hasn’t had any relapses. We had already tried hypoallergenic kibbles before, but they didn’t help. Sure, these aren’t the cheapest kibbles out there, but for us, they save us from big vet bills and, most importantly, our cat can now live a normal life.

May help some allergic cats, but mine preferred to fast

My cat completely refused these kibbles. I had to stop the trial after 24 hours. The product does seem to be a solution for cats with severe allergies, judging by the positive reviews. However, owners should be aware that their cat might rather go on a hunger strike than touch them. In our case, the refusal was absolute.

Good product, but gets soft and greasy quickly

My 6-year-old cat responds well to this product, less soft poo. But she won’t eat it if the kibble has been out for an hour, because it gets soft, so I only give her small portions at a time.

We are very satisfied

Our cat has been getting cortisone injections every few weeks for years, most recently at intervals of 6 weeks, because she kept getting gastritis. After trying various elimination diets, single protein foods, and going through lots of different brands, we had pretty much given up hope of ever finding something she could tolerate. So far, things are looking very good. Yes, it is more expensive, but compared to vet and emergency costs—and having a happy cat—I much prefer it this way!

Title

My cat has been on these kibbles for about six months now. They’re quite large, so he has a bit of trouble with them. Even though he’d rather eat his sister’s food, he does eat them in the end. The food works well for his coat. There’s been a significant price increase from Royal Canin recently, but I think it’s still cheaper than at the vet.

Top notch

After months of searching for a miracle, we finally found these kibbles—the only ones my Guizmo, who's super allergic, can tolerate... He's been on them for a few years now and I have nothing to complain about. Except for the price 🤦🤦

Changed kibbles?

Recently, my cats have been doing better thanks to these kibbles. However, the latest bag I ordered last week suddenly has smaller kibbles than usual, and they don’t smell as strong anymore. I’m worried there might be a production error, with the wrong kibbles put in the wrong packaging.

Cat Food Allergy

I looked into the topic, cat has an allergy to chicken and shouldn’t eat feather meal, not even hydrolysed. The list of ingredients is a bit scary. I’ve found better food for my cat, the scratching has eased off. We’re happy. Also, it’s very expensive.

Laura

Unfortunately, both of my cats started having an allergic reaction to Royal Canin food — they began vomiting and losing fur. I don’t know if the company switched to cheaper ingredients to cut costs, but this is the last product from this brand I’ll ever buy.

Really helped our cat

Our cat had suffered from liquid diarrhoea for years due to a malabsorption issue in her intestines. This food was recommended to us by the vet as a last resort, and it actually helped. After just a few months, her stools were back to normal. She also really enjoys eating it. The smell is fine too, kind of reminds me of peanut puffs. We’re very satisfied and can definitely recommend it for similar problems—of course, only after consulting a vet!
