Karlie Leopard Scratching Board

We have a multi-cat household and have used quite a few scratching waves over the years. They all last more or less a short time, but are very practical. But we threw this scratching wave away before even using it because: IT REEKS OF CHEMICALS and HARMFUL SUBSTANCES, glues or whatever. When I smelled it, I started coughing and got a scratchy throat. Even after airing it out outside for a long time, nothing changed. We can't expect our furry friends to put up with this!
