The cat really likes it a lot! But a downside is that the sticker on the product doesn’t stick to the edges of the sofa. I don’t think it would stay attached at all if it were vertical; we have it on the sofa armrest. But the cat no longer scratches the sofa, so in that sense it’s a brilliant product!!! I just wish there were different colour options available.

I attached the mat to one corner with wood. It sticks really well there. But I can imagine it works less well on the sofa. Definitely only for protection, not as a scratching option.
