The top cushion is very loosely attached and slips every time my cat jumps onto it, which leaves her resting on the hard edge of the platform. The chemical smell was also quite strong — I had to leave the cat tree in a separate room for days to air it out, and the odor still lingered afterward. In addition, the wooden leg at the bottom has a very pronounced edge, and the covering doesn’t soften it well, making the overall finish feel rough and not very comfortable for a cat.
