My cat was only recently switched to renal diet, so I tried every approved food to get him to eat. This drink was a complete NO. He wouldn't even take 1 lick, which surprised me, as he's at the phase of taking copious fluids.

My cat requires a strict renal diet and only likes 2 types of renal food, so she is bored with the same food over and over again. I add Kattovit Renal Drink to her food and she loves it. She could lick just this drink but she obviously needs more substantial food, so I mix both.

Something has changed
Everyone used to love this drink, it was foolproof. One of my cats, in fact, would tend to gorge herself and then throw up, so I had to give her just a tiny bit at a time. Now they don’t like it as much as before. Did they change the recipe? That’s a big problem for me, as I have another cat with kidney issues who’s always been dehydrated and really needs to recover—she used to love this gravy, but now she turns her nose up at it.

But now, even without Mirataz, she loves her Kattovit soup. She drinks a can a day, which keeps her well hydrated—essential for a cat with kidney issues. Too much plastic
